No tengo palabras para explicar lo que siento. Con vosotros desde vuestro primer disco, disfrutando de unas voces maravillosas, de unas canciones inolvidables. Nunca creí que llegaría a vivir esto, Carlos se ha ido siendo demasiado joven y eso duele. Nada más que decir que un abrazo a la familia, a sus tres amigos y compañeros (pequeña familia de grandes voces) y a todos aquellos que sienten que han perdido a alguien muy importante en su vida.

Very beautiful yet less than a year in a half Carlos passed away from the virus. It has shocked the world then, now May 2023 and for always. Without Carlos it's not the same & my heart ❤️ goes out to Carlo's family & the three men Carlos loved like his brothers. ❤️🙏🕊️

Having listened to I’ll Divo from their first cd to being able to attend 3 of their live shows I came to the opinion that while , Urs, David and Sebastian all had wonderful voices that Carlos’ had more depth. We will ALL miss Carlos, everyone of their fans worldwide , as they have a global fan base. Il Divo accompanies me on long car journeys , singing my head off (window open) sharing their music with the Australian bush. Vale Carlos.

@@franciscajimenezalfonso8251 tienes razón , Carlos era todo del grupo , su Voz su presencia llenaba el escenario , ya no será nada igual , yo sé que el resto del grupo intenta pasar página y seguir con el nuevo componente que yo creo que no está de paso , si no que ha venido para quedarse , es amigo de David y por lo que dices que no intenten imitar la voz de Carlos el que han puesto intenta hacerlo pero yo lo he escuchado con el grupo y tiene una voz fuerte por qué es también barítono pero es una voz brusca y áspera , los matices y tonalidades de la voz de Carlos es inigualable , tenis un don y un talento muy especial , el grupo se formó en torno a Carlos , la magia la crearon juntos , con Carlos a la cabeza , du nos lo llenaba todo , la falta del componente principal ha hecho que muchos grupos se deshagan , un saludo 😔😥

Exacto, totalmente de acuerdo. La buena musica perdurara siempre y Il Divo forma parte de este elenco de artistas sublimes, a mas son los unicos q se atrevieron a juntar lirico y pop. Con lirica solo no llegan a tanto publico, es mas.minoritario creo yo. Para.mi son unicos, verdaderas estrellas q brillan en cada composicion y superan al original. 3 out of 4 times they came to Singapore, I went. The last one was the most memorable as it was my birthmonth as well as Carlos'. We sang Happy Birthday to him. He was always the charming fella. Thank you Carlos for your presence in this world. Your voice will forever be heard.

I had the great opportunity to see the Il Divo concert in The Albert Hall, in London in 2019. It was a dream come true! A very special night! A great performance!! Saw the hard work and efforts the group made during worldwide lockdown. Incredible work and consistency. I was very sad to hear Carlos Marín early departure on 19th December. My sincerely condolescent to his family, his partners in the music, and extended family. My prayers are with you all. May he Rest In Peace. We have an angel in the stars carry on singing and looking after each one of us. Carlos Marín was much love, a brilliant voice, and an amazing Soul. 🙏

As a lifelong fan of Ildivo from the beginning in 2004 I am always stunned by the talent you share, your incredible voices so strong and powerful are breathtaking. The passing of Carlos was so unexpected and painful for all your loyal fans, and for you Sebastian, Urs, and David the passing of your band brother was more painful than one can imagine, and the pain was and is so raw and hurts very deeply 💔 one can only imagine how difficult it was for you to continue your outstanding beautiful performances without your dear brother. Now with the addition of Steven to your trio he has helped you to be brave enough to continue to wow your audiences with the talent you all share. Steven's voice is different to dear Carlos but no less as amazing and strong. I and indeed I am sure all of your fans thank you from the bottom of my heart for being brave enough to continue your performances across the globe and to continue to wow your loyal and new fans. I will be your fan for evermore God bless you all and keep you safe. ❤️
