I also got #35, but I’m neutral toned, I’d say you’re cooler toned which could be why it looks more yellowy on you!

Hi. Please try the brush again. You were using the brush as if it was a sponge 😅and that is wrong. Literally just use brush strokes and two pumps of makeup will cover your whole face. Add more to build coverage if desired. Trust me you will have an airbrush professional look 😊

I seem to have the same skin tone as you... What foundation and powder do you use? I have rosacea and dry cheeks with an oily forehead (in winter).

Hmm i just ordered and 35 was what they suggested for me too. That did look very yellow when you put it on but actually looked really good once you blended it. I have redness in my cheeks but now I wonder if i should have said neutral. 🤔

I don't know how you were suggested that yellow of a shade. 010 was my recommendation, haven't tried yet, but yeah I think you and/or they maybe overestimated the need for yellow?

Looks like you need the cool-toned undertone version. I'm shade 20...I've tried neutral tones before in other foundations, and it's still too yellow for my skin shade, and your skin looks a lot like mine.

I haven’t been able to wear any makeup without massive irritation. This makeup works fantastic and feels like nothing on my face. I only use the foundation and don’t use all the blush, concealer or any of that. This is the first makeup that isn’t YELLOW on me.

I have never had allergic reactions to makeup products in my life, but this foundation has caused very severe reactions. I am worried. This was the first time I bought cosmetic products online. Can it be toxic?

This foundation has stuff in it like Hyaluronic acid and vitamin E which are both very good for your skin so mabey there might be some other things in it that your allergic to.

I think you got the wrong undertone on the quiz wrong... It matches but not perfectly... the weight of the foundation is amazing...it's not heavy.

I tried it but didn't like it at all. I didn't see the difference between it and any other cheap drugstore one. The coverage and texture of this foundation was way worse than I expected...not sure what's the hype about it.

I've bought two shades of their foundation that were allegedly for cool skin. Both were yellow. I'm mad at myself for falling for their smooth marketing. Then the last straw was the No Filter Poreless Primer. Used it on one side and then used a drugstore Rimmel matte primer for textured skin on the other side. The expensive Il Makiage primer gave a noticeably worse result than the cheap primer. Il Makiage talks a good game, but at the end of the day their makeup fell flat on its face.

@@kristenrutledge2398 In the 40 years I've been wearing makeup, foundation matching has always been hit and miss. Smashbox? No problem matching shade (0.5). Cool undertone skin that's very fair is super skilled at showing yellow or even orange undertones in foundation. Or lipstick. -_- If I were paying drugstore foundation prices I wouldn't be bothered. Higher end? Super hyped? I'm bothered. Most especially higher end that claims a cool undertone that turns out to not be so on my skin. I'm glad you had no problems, but this foundation product line does not live up to its hype for everyone.

You look like you have jaundice, I took the quiz and it said my colour was 035, I can tell just by watching your video this is not a match. They clearly based this yellow tone due to stating redness (On cheeks) I'm so glad I didn't purchase.

I must say that I love their makeup, however I have a huge problem with their packaging of their products. There is so much waste with all of it. I know you think that it’s cool packaging but I employ you to consider how much waste there is. Also I believe the entire industry should stop using magnets. The process of manufacturing magnets leaves behind a toxic mess. I know the click that magnets make is satisfying but we’re killing our planet to look flawless. Any cardboard that contains a magnet can’t be recycled. We should demand that makeup manufacturers start using sustainable packaging. Consider doing some research on the waste of the industry. My apologies if I’m coming off as an a hole, it’s not my intention to bring any negativity to your page. That was a good video, stay safe, stay humble and do one thing everyday to be a better person ~~SM
