Vitorchiano, mi ha incantato …ora comprendo perché è considerato uno dei centri storici più belli di tutta la provincia di Viterbo ed è censito tra i borghi più belli d’Italia.
Le abitazioni sono sostenute da roccia vulcanica che il tempo ha levigato dandogli forme magiche.
Vitorchiano è chiamato il Borgo sospeso, non solo per le roccie su cui è poggiato ma anche per le sue spettacolari e artistiche Profferli
Inoltre è l’unico paese esistente al mondo al di fuori dell’Isola di Pasqua che ha un Moai alto 6 metri, un altro gioiello di questo paese sono le peonie al centro botanico Moutan, circa 15 ettari di fioritura un estensione di colori di oltre 250.000 peonie una collezione di arboree ed erbacee rarissima si dice unica al mondo E’ davvero uno spettacolo che rallegra.
Esiste anche un piccolo stupendo borgo al quale fanno da splendida cornice un infinità di piante e da dove si può godere di un panorama mozzafiato… ci sono solo ristoranti e si mangia benissimo.

Vitorchiano, it enchanted me ... now I understand why it is considered one of the most beautiful historic centers in the whole province of Viterbo and is listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Vitorchiano is called the suspended village, not only for the rocks on which it rests but also for its spectacular and artistic Profferli
It is also the only country in the world outside Easter Island that has a 6-meter high Moai, another jewel of this country are the peonies at the Moutan botanical center, about 15 hectares of flowering an extension of over 250,000 peonies a collection of extremely rare trees and herbs is said to be unique in the world It is truly a show that cheers up.
There is also a small stupendous village which is surrounded by an infinite number of plants and where you can enjoy a breathtaking view… there are only restaurants and you can eat very well.
I highly recommend visiting this ARTISTIC VILLAGE.
