Fictional single player mission for the 50th Fighter squadron USAAF. HSFX Mod for IL-2 1946 4.12m: www.mission4to... HSFX uses mission building triggers now in use by B.A.T. mod 4.2 and higher. #il21946douglasrangel
Jesus that was a crazy crossing shot you did to that 190 9:00 mins in. Man you teasing me bro you flying my girl with the skin I love ...... I don't know how I feel about it lol. Great video good shooting 👍 my dude.
Absolutely the landing was spot on, great mission and it's to be expected that the 190 at low altitude are a challenge. But once they started climbing you were spot on. You were a bit to busy to help your flight. I enjoyed this mission. Expert huh? Congrats
Yes that is the mod version expert, I was told it had to do with improvements made to the A.I. I plan on flying a few more missions using HSFX overall it was a very good mod for it’s time. BAT is by far the best and still updated.
Is this expert mode directed to flight modeling, AI behavior, or both? If applying to the flight model, does it, at least in some measure, apply also to the AI? If not, then it would seem the player would likely be further handicapped in a relative sense, as already the simplified AI model is cause for some frustration. Are there other respects in which HSFX might better B.A.T.? Is HSFX supported still?
Glenn HSFX started out at a version 5, and went up to 7 with a later patch to 7.0.3 nothing since. It still has a following as users can still add compatible effects to the games mod folder. I remember moving to it exclusively because it had mission building triggers the A.I. was good as well, but for me after B.A.T. kept updating and eventually added the triggers this mission was something out of the storage locker room. Still fun to play this mod.
Hi douglas, been a fan and a subscriber for a while, i literally ordered my first vr headset a few days ago, its coming tomorrow and i already have il 2 1946, what mod would you recommend, i was looking at BAT but i think its too broad, i want something more ww2 specific. Great content and great kills! keep em coming!
Rafael once you install BAT in the game files there is a file named selector click it on to run the world at war version of the game that is specifically for World War Two.
@@callsignnictmere465 no problem man, been a fan for some time, to me, you're to flying what Wolfpack is to submarines 👌keep up the videos and more importantly have fun.
Hey Odee the 14th FG had various fighter squadrons that also included P40's. P38's were used in the 3 roles described air superiority anti ship and ground pounding, carried out by the P38's as their command was impressed by the 38's performance. They took many losses and were withdrawn, however they knocked out just under 60 enemy planes. After re fit they were placed back into action. This was based on my research that has be proven to be 100% pct maybeeee.
I still use my regular flight stick for the 38, but I think about trying out a yoke. They are not to expensive, and my throttle can be split for the twin engines. Thanks for watching.
Nice landing, man! It seems like it's easier to take enemies out than in DCS, is that true? Seems like I have to use all my ammo just to get a single plane smoking in DCS. Of course I'm not that good at aerial gunnery either.
That is my DCS warbird experience too Gryph I end up using up the full load out for a single air to air plus the a.i. does the same moves every time. It is a shame as they have a decent flight model.
Does this mod include early versions of the P-38? The G and H models? I'm asking because the time period calls for the early sleeker chin intakes version of the Lightning. Great mission BTW!
