Ha 1112 M1L is a spanish BF-109 (Franco & Hitler were on same side in 1936 and Hitler supported the "golpe").
It's equipped with Merlin engine like a...spitfire.
It was on service in spanish air defense very late (seventies).
For this reason, it was used to make a movie (British movie) first in 1969 (Battle of Britain) , and some others later (Memphis Belle and "Dunkirk" are the most famous).
Some modifications were made to approach Bf-109 looking (3 blades, radio antenna, new wings).

It is this beautiful modified version(very achieved) that Barnesy presents to us.
Today the plane performs in many air shows and is presented as a Messerchmitt.
It flies in every version ogf the game (except 4.10 & 4.11).
