Over the last few weeks, I have been using the Ilford Sprite 35-II for vacation photographs. Of course, I am going to share my thoughts on Ilford Sprite 35mm with a quick review and some initial thoughts about the new 35mm film camera. To be honest, I am really pumped about having a new A reloadable 35mm film camera for just over 35 bucks. This video is just my initial impressions of my first few rolls. I like the idea of just taking photos purely for memory's sake. I think the imperfections add to the nostalgia when looking back at the photos as well!

I 100% agree. Our loved ones will never be like “oh this was shot with dad’s Leica” as much as they will remember how that particular moment made them feel.

Love the awesome 80's/90's vibe of these pictures! A camera like this will be great for keeping in the car or taking places I'd be afraid my more expensive cameras might get stolen or damaged. Really looking forward to getting one.

100% yes! We all need cameras that be banged around and used in situations where we won't bring our more expensive gear

If you want 80s/90s nostalgia, there are plenty of cheap cameras like this laying around if you check out thrift stores. You could probably get one for free if you ask a few old people you know. No need to pay $50 for a new one with a licensed Kodak or Ilford brand on it.

I remember sitting on a plane next to a photography professor once and he told me that if I wanted to be a great photographer someday I should start by buying a very cheap camera with black and white film :)

Thanks for the video def sold me on it especially the memories pitch. I really want to pair this with a more "professional" camera so one for my more serious shots and one for just going out with friends and making memories. Thanks for the input and great video man!

Hey guys be careful with this camera, it does take okay pictures especially for the price. However, I took this camera on my honeymoon and brought 4 rolls of film. The camera winding gears ruined 2 out of the 4 rolls and made me wind the roll early because the film wouldn’t advance anymore.

Thanks for the review! Was given a disposable for Christmas but I really want to find a reusable so I can keep the memories and not be wasting cameras.

I went for the cheaper option of the Agfa one, exactly the same thing. Just a different brand, love this content creator!

will be buying to be my replacement small camera so i don’t always have to bring my canon eos rebel and pentax me super, i love them to death but they are pretty bulky

Oh man, so many good film stocks. If it’s bright and sunny and the middle of the day most definitely Kodak Gold. If it’s a little more challenging light you can’t go wrong ilfrod delta 3200

Hmmm I’m new to film, but I would buy 200iso film for those bright sunny days and 400 for cloudy almost overcast skies.

I have a question when u take the pic does the camera display like the pic in something or u gotta put ur phone in the camera?

You have to take the film out of the camera, develop it (or take it to a shop to be developed) and then scan it if you want a digital version.

Hi, do you think a 400 iso film would ruin the photos and make them to light?

That's an excellent question. It would depend on what and when you are photographing stuff. 400 ISO film would be excellent from sunrise to just about sunset.
