Wow! Every time Ilia skates his artistry improves 100%. He is the best. If he keeps up he good work, he will win gold at the next Winter Olympics.

I agree. He used to be technically brilliant, but artistically blah at best. I found him a bit obnoxious and arrogant. He has definitely matured, and his artistic expression has matured along with him. He will be a force to reckon with at the next Olympics for sure.

this is truly a treat for eyes and ears. I can't stop watching his interesting moves. I watch this at least once a day, lol. the choreography is beautiful and is perfect for this music. it feels like it choreographed itself. my happy place.

This young man is a pleasure to watch skate. His ability to jump as clean and light shows art. All his jumps are clean. His skates draw form onto the ice like a painter that has each stroke planned. His skating is manly but gentle. I am looking forward to seeing much more of this young man. ♥🎯✝

I’m loving the little nuances blossoming in his performances. And I’m amazed how calm he enters a jump, especially the entry of the axel in this performance. His jumps are so smooth and solid in and out now and don’t distract from the flow of the performance. His confidence in them is transferred to the spectator. Little worry he will falter from the moment he sets up the jump. I think this performance is even better than worlds as far as artistry.

His artistry is improving so dramatically - this is gorgeous. Jumps are all well and good but I could watch that back outside edge at 0:32 and the bracket at 0:56 all day.

Yet again, thank you for the amazing camera work and the upload. Ilia is a young man who is really finding his own way artistically. I see someone who obviously is not afraid of hard work. Also see passion, heart, growth and see a man coming into his own. Obviously, he's already incredible - but I feel there's even more to come. Hoping (like all people) he stays healthy in body, mind and spirit.

Softer music requires softer arm movements; the jumps, cartwheel and Raspberry Twist are dynamic, very Ilia's; the Ina Bauer glide across the ice is quite dramatic. I also enjoy the little detail such as spinning on one heel. Beautiful skate, Ilia! Love it.

Been watching it for three decades and no one has seen anything like him. His parents are former Olympic skaters and they raised and trained him. What he has done has been likened to the moon landing in figure skating. He also has that “it” factor.

It is great to see Ilia experimenting with various movements in field outside of his trademark Raspberry Twist. The backwards knee slide was nice, I loved the roundoff, though I recognize it is quite illegal, and that Ina Bauer was gorgeous. The summer programs are always a great place to experiment, and I can't wait to see what Ilia brings from with him to next season
