Iliamna Lake - A Land Worth Preserving 

What a beautiful place. I hope it gets preserved and remains pristine. If I ever get a chance to live in such a place, I'd choose this...away from the world. ♥️ Thank you for sharing this. Truly Grateful.

Thank you for posting this. I too made my first trip to Iliamna in 1987 when I was 15 years old. My Grandfather’s hotel sits on the runway at the airport. His name was John. He would have told you to just call him farmer John. Like that was easier. Lol I went to school in the village of Newhalen. However my stay was only April to October. I came back for the summer when I was 18. This video is awesome and thank you for all your work to save it.

Are there really large lake monsters in Iliamna or is it just commercial television needing another "legend" to get ratings?

Its not the Largest lake in the United states hahaha theres 12 other Lakes much larger than this one, have you heard of lake Michigan?
