Willow Ptarmigan, the Alaska State Bird, in Denali National Park 

Seeing them happy in their habitat makes me feel i wish i could be one of them.

I would LOVE to go to Alaska at least just once, BUT... In the Summer Time, NOT Winter, my butt will FREEZE in the Winter Time, i HATE cold places, which is why i was born and would rather stay in TX, LOL! :-P :-P The Willow ptarmigans ARE SO PRETTY in the Winter, when they turn ALL white! :-) :-) The first time i ever heard their funny, weird AND cute sounds was when i saw "LIFE BELOW ZERO", on one of the Episodes! :-) They make this funny, weird AND cute sound when they're running around in the snow! That is one COOL Show! :-) Your video is COOL! :-) :-)

No, they are mew gulls which nest on the gravel bars of Savage River. The Savage River area of Denali is where I videotaped the ptarmigan.
