West Yorkshire is perfect for a mini adventure in England. It has some beautiful countryside and scenery, close to some great towns and cities in the north.
From the Yorkshire Dales to Ilkey, in this short highlight video we showcase the best spots we visited on a short staycation.
We arrive to the Cow and Calf on Ilkley moor, a wonderful cozy pub/ restaurant/ bnb. It’s very close to the cow and calf rocks and walks out onto the moors with views of Ilkey town.
We spotted some grouse, an old bath house, and dodged rain amongst the green ferns and sweeping views.
We took a short road trip to some local sights such as Janets Foss, a waterfall and pagan trail, as well as Gordale Scar, a hike up to an ancient waterfall. Take in spectacular views at Malham Cove. It was also a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film location spot!
