My partner is a lawyer , he have lawyers friends ( immigration lawyers ) all of them helping all those guys crossing the channel, all of them became very rich , some of them are gays , and could hear one saying , he doesn’t care if his nieces been abused by his clients , they will get over it one day , and he will get the money! Someone filmed it , and posted on his Facebook , now he is hiding from his family ! This lawyers doesn’t care about anything , just about the money

Thats a valid point...how can it be legal? My father came to the UK on a plane with a passport and asked for political asylum back in the 70s ( greek dictatorship issues) and ended up opening 2 restaurants and yet asylum is given to illegal entry????? I, as an aerospace engineer, going to have a much harder time trying to get a working visa in the UK over just random people landing on the shore with a rubber noat. How is that even logical to these people?!

To be recognised as a refugee under the 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, you must have left your country and be unable to go back because you have a well-founded fear of persecution based on one of the following convention reasons: race. religion. nationality. I contend that the majority of those coming across the channel in boats KNOW that they do not meet these criteria. If you enter the country knowing you do not meet these criteria, then you are breaking the law

The reason that France is taking in more than we are ie because the country is surrounded by easy access with no borders to stop them. And they can freely travel though Europe. We are surrounded by water, so entry onto our island is not so easy. When free movement began around Europe, I said to my dad, "We have just given easy access for hell to enter."
