The video quality of MLP was insanely low. Championship court was 720p, which was relevant in like 2004. And grandstand court was in 360p, it looked like a gas station security camera. Literally, they could get better quality footage with just a GoPro, or an iPhone up there. I can’t even actually conceive of what kind of camera they are using to get 360p footage, I didn’t even know anything still recorded at that resolution in 2024.
I really appreciated The Dink's coverage since it allowed RU-vid live chat. I don't know why PPA / MLP has disabled it -- always enjoyed the live chat during these games.
Pickleball will have 'arrived' when matches are being 'thrown' for gambling purposes. This is why I am against legalized betting on pickleball or any other sport.
Andre's paddle.. It's a rubber type surface.. And with some heat, wouldn't some "chemicals" bleed from paddle? Keep it out of the sun.. or wait.. Keep it in the sun for grip!! hahaha.... Great pod! #PickleballChris #TylerWrenProPickleball #OptaHealthAndWellness #RawPickleballbuzz
Exactly how Volleyball is played. If it is rally scoring that is the way it is . If they miss a serve on 25th point we'll game over. A freeze is NOT rally scoring.
Cheating happens when you are maxed out, if you are desperate, you cheat, also it can mean that equipment and play is at an apex, when you are at a high, the next is a low!!!
It's laughable to say a pro player doesn't know the rules. It's part of his job to know the rules. "I didn't know it was illegal to speed officer, so you can't write me a ticket." 😂
With certain top players getting paid significant salaries by the PPA/MLP, is there a possibility that the PPA/MLP will run out of $$ in the next 2-3 years?
Bring back having to win on your serve. As a viewer, there is no end of game drama without it. Isn't the whole point of MLP to start gaining some viewership? MLP ownership needs to stop focusing on what the pros want, and focus on what viewers want to watch.
