this is genuinely really interesting seeing people make more than actual real jobs' salaries, trading off numbers in a game about killing a cool wither (and alot more but dungeons is the "Main" content of the game to me)

I've played probably a total of two hours of Hypixel Skyblock but really find these types of videos entertaining. Keep up the great work!

Hypixel has a bad macro check system. The only way you will get checked is if your online for the entire day or if you are ranked in the collection. You won’t even get a perm ban either, just a 30 day

It is insane to me how people can make a real life career out of stuff like this. It is also incredibly intriguing, and I love to learn about the people who found new and unexpected methods of making money in seemingly unfitting places. I only wish it didn't come at the cost of everyone else's play experience. I can't help but wonder what it would take for me to find a method to monetize a game like this. Unfortunately, if I were to do it, it would probably come at the cost of the play experience of other players, and the credit cards of the parents of a bunch of twelve year olds, which is not okay.

8 cents per mil is so expensive, I actually went and search up skyblock coins in Carousell (it’s just a online shopping place that a lot of ppl in my country uses) and I see ppl selling skyblock coins for 1.6cents per mil

almost got ratted from party finder yesterday. guy was saying you had to join a vc to run dungeons with his party and I was like okay sure thats fine. I join the discord and it asks me to verify, it asked me for my microsoft account email and then sent me a code to put in. I was seconds away from putting it in when I thought about it a little more. Microsoft doesnt say anything about the code being to login, which btw, THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE EMAIL TO SAY THAT. Anyways, I look up what the code is for and its to log into my account. Glad I found out about it. Moral of the story Microsoft needs to make their password codes clear on what they're for.

Blitz actually left the community a lot later, the first coin cartel got banned and he made another, it was only when that one got banned in june(ish) of 2021 is when he finally left the community

i find it crazy how ppl can even get caught and banned so easily. there was one top player scuadush back in 2020 who irl traded his account for almost $2000 USD without getting scammed, and that account got wiped a few months later

IMO I see nothing wrong with buying coins off of skyblock; Streamers online will be donated BILLIONS of coins only to just throw that kind of stuff away by viewers and admins don't bat an eye but on top of that support that kind of behavior. Theres theories that some items that youtubers receive are exclusively given out BY admins. Popular streamers are automatically given a crutch by viewers when they are given millions of coins, but when one person whos not that popular decides to also do the same thing only by themselves? Ban, and account wipe. Why? Because Hypixel isn't receiving that money via their own means of pay-to-win (Doesn't matter how you try to word it or justify it, if you can purchase their cookies or whatever new random items and just sell it off for a whole lot more money; that's pay to win) Its just a whole lot of hypocrisy, and its sad to see that it hasn't been called out

A month ago I had my account hacked and lost about a billion coins worth of stuff and the people in the server offered to buy my account after they stole everything because of my skills. I’m still trying to rebuild my account but it’s insane how quick they destroyed my progress.

I sold hundreds - if not thousands of dollars worth of coins during the early stages of the game, in fact I stopped right before the first ever ban wave on irl traders which I didn't get caught in. I think the main reason for this was because I had a regular client who would purchase 20-30m and because I had super op ways to make money back then I was able to print out about $30-40 worth or coins an hour.

I used to do it back in the very early days of Skyblock, when 1 mil skyblock was worth more than a dollar, I did make around 3000$ and never got caught, though I did stop around the time people using the same script as me first started getting banned.

I think that the 300-400k figure is a lie. I was part of sbd and the top sellers (Morty & Venus) had a dupe method and coin prices were really good 0.5-1.5$/m, they managed to sell 100k+$ worth of coins by selling to tons of suppliers in sbd. There was another script maker called Zack that joined after Blitz and he made more and better scripts than Blitz, but he exit scammed thousands. Otherwise, pretty good video.

The skyblock detection system is terrible unfortunately, this video made me feel like I was undergoing propaganda lol. I've had a teammate (No longer play with him), who used to buy and sell coins for profit, sometimes transferring over 8 billion coins in a day, buying at bulk and reselling on foreign platforms. His profile was about 4 month old, and by then he'd transferred over 400b coins from account-to-account, and haven't gotten banned yet. To my knowledge, hes reached over 700b transferred now and still getting about a thousand dollars per week. I've distanced myself from him as I didn't want to be a part of it, especially whne he got into ratting. It's not that I care about the law, I live in a country where online crime is basically ignored unless it is targeted at the government, but rather due to my personal morals. I'm sometimes doubting myself on whether I should have stayed or even helped him, as now I am really lacking money, because I spend over 11 hours per day studying, with pretty much no time left for even a part-time job. Hope that everything works out fine. Also - about the "do not download mods that a person sends you", I wanna say that you can, but just always decrypt the mod and check it fully for any webhooks, or grab functions. Or, if you do not know coding, just use clients like Lunar or Badlion or use trustworthy mods like Skytils, SBA, SBE, NEU, Soopy, ChatTriggers, DungeonRooms Mod, DungeonsGuide and etc.

There is enough precedent set in contract law alone for this to land you in hot water legally. It may not be a criminal offense, but by duping and redistributing coins a player is violating the contract they have with the server, which is the TOS. The server has the exclusive right to distribute this in game currency and players violating that has enough impact on the server owner’s revenue through those coins to make an argument not just for banning players due to TOS breach, but also to bring litigation against them for damages that duping these coins has because player’s distributing and especially duping these coins has a significant impact on the coins value and the owner’s ability to sell the coins. As long as the server itself is not violating any law or contract between them and Mojang/Microsoft by selling the coins in the first place, then they can bring litigation against a player for this if they can show it caused damage and it is very easy for one player duping millions of coins to depreciate the value of the coins and therefore the value of purchasing the coins from the server to the point where that can be shown fairly easily.

my account just got stolen by my stupidity of linking the microsoft to discord and verifying something. Then as i log in my account i get disconnected with a message saying i have been logged in through a different location, i try to rejoin, says error code null. At the time i didn’t think too much of it so i went to sleep. The next morning i wake up try and login, i do log in but i notice that all of my 3 year hard work of items have disappeared and i sit there crying. So please to anyone watching this video, listen to him and dont do anything that has to do with linking your account to any sketchy things, such as discord.

IRL trading in games is not against the law neither is duplicating them using methods not found within the normal game, however methods to dupe that are not a part of the game like DDOS to crash in order to preform a dupe are against the law, as long as you're doing everything in the game that the game provides, you can do whatever in the heck you want, if the wrong people find out though, there may be in-game consequences.
