Illenium, this is one of the best sets I've ever heard. I listen to it while working, training, chilling. It has everything. My family makes fun of me for listening to Trance, Dubstep, Triphop, etc. I am 50 years old, but my ears hear beats, ballads, chaos, pause, fresh air a.k.a. LIFE. Your music is life! I agree. And picture quality is way better. By them cutting the crowd noise and what not makes the festival seem dead af. Ultra actually makes you get that vibe you’re at the festival

how come all the songs he mixes in are so gay and sad? he'll have a quick minute or two of jamming beats mixed in and then bam, right back to some gay sad song.

One of the rare times where Dj brought out a vocalist and was heard CLEARLY instead of the backing track over-saturating. Plus Tori Kelley is a phenomenal singer! Wow :) much to everyone that got to see this live 🖤
I like this version better than the studio version. Being able to hear her raw vibrato and the punch caused by the adrenaline of the live performance... It's the subtle "real" pieces they take out in the studio that makes it amazing.
Though I highly believe that the sound engineers in the booth enhance vocalist who are singing vs those who are rappers. They’ll bump the volume down because 10/10 they will just be screaming their lyrics.
Already one of the best, especially between those that play in big/mainstream festivals. This set is simply perfect, no mistakes in mixing, track selection, flow, etcetc Insane!
I really think the combination of different genres makes a illenium show so damn special and a memorable show. I really wished I was there at that place, I literally had goosebumps just watching this, imagine what will happen in person.

@@andrewjames5373 Location makes that limitations :( It's in the middle of huge city with skyscrapers around. Loud sound, lasers and fireworks are irritating for people around. Bayfront creates atmosphere but limitate visuals :(

My two favourite DJs are ILLENIUM and Alesso. Two different types of music and I never thought I’d see one of them play the others song. I watched it live and was in shock when he started played If I Lose Myself AND then he fucking plays CALLING. Unreal! Goosebumps! Hairs were standing up and I was smiling from ear to ear. For that reason alone; this will be my favourite set of all time.
Been watching live sets like these (tmrwland, ultra, etc) for 8 years now and THIS is without a doubt the best live set ive ever seen! Its perfection, probably watched this video over 15 times now

This set was amazing last night at Ultra. After dealing with a broken engagement and hearing the songs from Fallen Embers again brought out so much feelings out of me. So happy to experience Tori singing Blame myself live. Love all the Illenials out there. Promised myself to ascend, but ended up falling with the embers. 🤍
Illenium have given too many happines and a wave of emotions that I am unable to explain since 2015 when I listened him for the first time, but he helped me when I needed the most because there always was a song for every moment. Thank you so much for this journey :')

Crazy to think I first discovered him at Lollapalooza in 2016 at my first music festival with him playing for a small crowd at Perry's to now headlining at Ultra!! Truly an inspiration to so many people.
