so many will probably have zero idea how huge this is, spiritbox has exploded onto the metal scene in a very huge way. they are one of the best bands to rise in recent years, to have this collab is massive for both genres. and courtney, well, shes insane.

Small thing, but big props featuring the band as a whole. Pretty much every other feature, people just take the easy route and throw the singer in there, but the whole band really integrated well into the song.

Longtime Illenium fan, metalhead and new fan of Spiritbox. This shows that both these genres go so well together. EDIT: A lot of the genres seem to be in war with each other when the reality is that they're both so similar musically and compositionally. I guess people slam EDM because it's not acoustic, but the reality is that a lot of metal musicians have also used and still do use synths and electronic aids. Both genres aren't too far apart, same for some aspects of the subcultures too. Both genres have their merits, and this is coming from someone who used to be on-and-off with EDM, one of those acoustics-are-superor people. I used to think it was stupidly easy to make EDM and other electronic songs until I actually sat down and tried. Both are genres worthy of respect, and both are so similar I'd argue they're sisters from different mothers. Are you allowed to have preferences? I'm not saying you can't! But you cannot bash EDM and then like metal, and you can't like metal and then bash EDM.
