On Nov. 9, the Department of Aerospace Engineering hosted another Illini Aero Connections event -- a program to help connect AE alumni with current students.
The topic was propulsion and aircraft design. The alumni described how their experience in undergraduate and/or graduate studies helped them be successful, how the design process works at start-ups and large aerospace corporations, and shared some of the hardest design challenges they have faced in their careers so far.
