Hey Deonte! My husband did the first 6 years of his bid in Stateville...They done torn down F-house ( the roundhouse). It was all seg, detention. All the guys in there ( including my hubby) got transferred out when the announcement came that F- house was comin' down. They took 'em straight down to Menard, bro...and it sucked!! Your stories are REAL TALK, that IS how it be in the ' Ville, aight?! Thank you, man for sharing your experiences. He is talking about the northern reception center also known as NRC. NRC is just holding before you go to your prison. Statesville is a maximum penitentiary and is still open until this day. It is next door to NRC and behind the wall

Sorry to burst ur bubble death I live out here and the haunted house isn't the old prison, the haunted house is just called statesville haunted prison but its not actually at a prison they do have tours of the old prison he's talking about though and he's trying to seem hard, dupage county is the suburbs he's not from the city. I've been to every county in the burbs and cook county in the city..dupage county is so sweet its all suburban dudes who don't want no smoke with any one they just wanna go home and the food is really good..compaired to cook county wich is just throw up on a tray lol I always go to cook cause I live in the city but I've been locked up in every county around here.. dupage is the softest and sweetest jail around its like going on a small vacation they do not take advantage of white people when u go to dupage...the whole jail is white haha

My husband was at the mall in Saint John,,New Brunswick,Canada last month..He heard cops radios going off above him on the 3rd floor, he then saw a flash from the corner of his eye, then he heard buddy hit the floor! He cannot even describe the sound, plus malls echo...He looked over the railing and buddy was half on his belly and side..Blood everywhere! There were a bunch of teens in the food court having lunch..My husband said they were screaming cause he landed in front of them..we don't know if he jumped or was pushed..major crime is investigating this so there's more to it...He was only 25yrs old..Rest in peace...very sad...

Its like 150 yrs old but the one in crest hill is the one with the round house....its old too but has a newer max section they built like 10yrs ago and they don't do the haunted house at the prison but they do tours and ghosts shit there...

I ended up bailing myself out of dupage county jail, so I only spent a few hours in a bullpen. The tray they brought me was damn delicious, it was a hot tray with ravioli, a stack of cookies and a metal cup with some really nice sweet tea. It was sweet. If that's what they do for you in the bullpen, once you hit the block it must be chill.

the recieving cells at Statesville wernt up off the ground when I was there. it's just chain link fence cages with concrete benches. I ran food and worked in the hostpital throughout that whole place in 05 for 2 months.

I got charged with the same thing in Illinois but I was in vermilion county! Possession of a narcotic 8 grams of heroin possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription I had like 25 Percocets, and distribution and manufacturing of marijuana. I had 82 grams. they hit you with everything they can they're just like he said they leave no stone unturned if they can charge you with it they will. The county where I'm at it's called cop-out county. Cuz everybody's going to cop out to a plea one way or another. That old roundhouse prison was called Joliet. My grandfather used to work there.I'm not trying to repeat what he said everything I just said was before you got to the Joliet part of the video.

Its been on many of the paranormal shows already & is on a few Most Haunted shows & lists as well. So theres lots of info & reports saying it def is a very active site. In Louisville u do 85%. But 7 months 21 days kills a state year that's without good time.. you have to do SAP program and that takes 6 months off you time..

I just don't know why they don't give criminals a choice of work for your own freedom or do 100 percent of the sentence, because it take 21 day to create a habit, the thought being that while they are away they can learn a trade and work habits that would give them a opportunity to learn and give back to the community that they betrayed

Stateville has never changed locations. Also F house is not a haunted house. Joliet was a separate prison that is now closed down. They are not going to allow random people in a cell house on the grounds 50 feet from the chow hall for a haunted house. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Growing up on 58th and Michigan , Grandma stayed 49th and Wabash and HS on Stony Island in the 80s- you affiliated (at least) or you wasnt moving around the City

I live in Champaign IL and my brother is currently serving his 4th term in prison and my boyfriend was sentenced to 30yrs 5yrs ago for a non violent crime but they charged him with the habitual criminal act but had no evidence that's another story though and my husband was shot and killed a year-and-a-half ago but he also did three terms in the penitentiary and my daughter's father has been to prison 6 times and with all their cases they had very little evidence but Illinois has a 90% conviction rate and they will take or give any offer just to convicted you the justice system here in the state of Illinois is so messed up and the prisons here are horrible we don't have as many shootings as Chicago but my city is also very gang-related and is also very violent like I said before my husband of 12 Years was murdered shot 4 times in his throat and his chest at a club with 30 Witnesses and nobody is talking and his murder has stayed unsolved but again as for the prisons I've done a lot of visits to a lot of them in this whole state to a lot of my close family members and it's a horrible and scary place for any of the men in my life of course they act like they got this and they're getting through but I have seen the conditions and my heart aches for them everyday the real problem in Illinois right now is the justice system is corrupt and the gang violence and gun violence needs to come to an end. and once you're in the system here you're never going to get out of it the police here will Target you until they get an arrest and conviction!
