To be fair, I wouldn't know how to use a crutch properly of nobody would teach me how to. Because based on my logic, I would use a crutch on the same side of my injured leg.
Because that is actually the right side. People are finding the stupidest reasons to hate them. The side you are hurt on is the side you use the crutch. I have had my experiences and so have plenty of people in my lifetime.

If you use your crutch on the right side when your right leg is injured, your centre of gravity shifts from your centre to your right only and you'll lose balance easily. It's meant to be on the left side to balance out your right leg. Having to explain this makes me feel like I just got trolled and the joke went over my head...
I wouldn’t either. I sprained my ankle two years ago but I didn’t use crutches. My parents thought I didn’t need it. I asked them if I should go to the doctor but they said no.😭
As a person who had leg injury on my left leg i also use crutch for many weaks sometimes i used to put my weight on my injured leg without even noticing so of course it's normal there is no need to hating on her

One of my friends had an ankle fracture last year and he needed to use crutches. Most times he would do the same as what Wonhee is doing cause he said that the crutches are very uncomfortable, especially on the armpit area so it felt more comfortable using one and using it on the injured side cause he didn’t have to put pressure on his injured leg when walking. So idk what kpop fans are on about

As someone currently using crutches putting the crutch next to my injured leg is easier for me. Although its not the best as it doesn't take all the weight off my ankle I don't have to think about where to move the crutch as much because I just move it with my injured leg so it doesn't hit the floor as hard as my foot would normally. Yall wanna find any reason to hate on anyone. She's not faking crutches are just hard to manevuer around and a struggle overall.
Idk man, when i was supposed to wear crutches for my ankle, i never used them right. They are really fucking painfully, i actually stopped using them after two days because they were uncomfortable
Medical professionals sometimes offer different advice based on the specifics of an injury. What works for one person might not work for another. See in most cases you are supposed to wear it on the non-injured leg but not everyone has the same ankle injury. I am sure the hospital and the staff members know more than us. Stop hating on Wonhee❤❤
That's not true as a medical student. Never put it on the same leg. You could hurt yourself more, but she probably didn't know , so it isn't her fault, but she shouldn't do it anymore cause she isn't balancing it she is standing on the injury

any doctor will teach you how to use it and especially because it may hurt the injured leg more so how on earth is she able to walk while the entire weight of body is shifted to the injured foot 😭
@@cherimming doctors don't always teach you, and you can walk on an injured foot. I walked on an injured ankle for months because crutches are really uncomfortable to use
@@cherimming I know someone who has a brother who had a bag leg for 18 years and used it because using it on the injured leg relieved the pain and because it distributed the weight on the crutch so that it will be easurr for you when the cast gets removed

If you don’t think about it too hard it seems like it’s logical to have the crutch on the injured side so you can alternate your body weight between the crutch and your non-injured foot the same way you alternate your weight between both legs when not injured. Obviously when put to scrutiny this idea is wrong, but it’s not an unreasonable assumption.

I have literally had crutches a lot of times (surgery for halux valgus and some other procedures like removing the whole toenail) and I used the crutches wrong until a doctor finally pointed it out, I still used them wrong after that since it was more exhausting the correct way.
Her being criticized for that is so stupid, coming from someone who broke their ankle and used my crutch like that when i had too much stuff in my other hand. She would have been able to use it properly had she been helped, thats literally not her fault
Y'all saying that she's faking it. She isn't if you watch her walking in the airport she's limping and that crutch may be used for safety precautions and the injury may not be severe. I know lots of people who used the crutch on the injured leg because it feels better and actually helps relieving the pain and shifts the weight to the crutch and the injured leg so it won't feel weird when you start using the leg
As someone who has used a crutch before, nearly nobody uses those correctly, you always shift it around depending on what your doing and she was clearly trying to keep up while holding her stuff, so she did the unhealthy thing and used it as a leg substitute.
Actually, no, I was injured and I broke my leg and I use the crutch on the side of my injured leg because I cannot put force on my leg and if I stood with that leg, it would hurt a lot so she uses the crush on that side so she can use the crutch as a leg the way- also even if she’s speaking it the problems with the company not her

Her arm on the side that isn't hurt might be stronger to carry her stuff. And the doctor whatever you wanna call them might have not given instructions to use it, when I hurt my foot they didn't, same with my friends
When Ive worn crutches in the past Ive used them like this because it worked better for me. There is a reccomended way but thats irrelevant if it still causes you to bear weight.
As far as I know, you can use it on both sides, although the side of your uninjured leg is better. You can have the crutch 'replace' your injured leg by holding it how Wonhee did, or you can hold it onthe side of your uninjured leg so you lean to your uninjured side.
If it was legit... the nurse would have showed her correctly... but even if the nurse forgot... it's natural instict.... I had bunion surgery and no way would I would put pressure on my injured leg.....yes my first time using crutches too... so... too much excuses
I had an injured ankle similar to her at one point and the doctor told me that I could put it wherever it hurt less. So I put it on the side where my injury was because it sorta “replaced” my ankle for the time being. This is probably the case for her too. Yes, she is walking on her ankle, but because of the crutches, she’s applying less pressure and therefore able to walk normally.

As a dancer who has had a multiple leg injuries before- people need different things than the norm sometimes. having your crutch on a specific side can help with different things. and even if she WAS faking- it shouldn’t be something she is being criticized for (as it would probably be company induced.

When I broke a bone in my foot, I also kept using my crutch incorrectly because I kept forgetting what my doctors told me. The girl is young, you can't blame her for using her crutch incorrectly that's mad, people are just tryna find reasons to hate her atp💀
As u mentioned BELIFT announced abt her ankle issue which means belift has to receive hate not the idols. They are just doing what they are told. Belift treats idols very poorly (both enhypen and illit) and people hating on groups rather than addressing the issue directly to the company helps it (belift) do this sht even more

As someone who has broken their foot, TWICE. The crutches are awful, sometimes I would do the same thing as Wonhee becuase the damn crutches hurt my armpit. People are seriously just grasping for anything at this point smh

When I injured my knee I used it that way too thinking it is supossed to BE the knee, I realised it YEARS later so It might be she did too,and the staff is ATP useless not helping her

I don't even Stan Illit but this is genuinely ridiculous. I was on crutches for a total of a year and a half, maybe more. I was given two crutches, not just one, but I would put more weight on the foot that wasn't broken (obviously lol). If I had just one crutch, I almost definitely would do the same as she did. Also, the crutch seems too tall for her. I don't think they adjusted the crutch properly. It's ridiculous to fault her for her doctors not properly instructing her on what to do. With how idols are being treated, she might not even have went to the doctor. The company might have just given her a crutch and boot and told her to use it and then stop. And also, what are the chances of a dancer hurting their ankle? It seems pretty likely, so it's ridiculous to scrutinize it this much.
