no like geniunely speaking. this is definitely at least inspired by min heejin's ideas or probably even directed by her. Other groups were a stretches but hybe is really lazy. this does resemble newjeans. the sound of the music down to the concept. Its okay to accept it. Do you see saying le sserafim and newjeans are similiar? No. Bcs le sserafim got completely different creative direction. However, this.. Its just very uninspired. I Wanted something that seperates ILLIT from their seniors and other groups. just like how the coming of age concept and UK garage sound is the main for NWJNS. we want something that defines ILLIT and sets them apart. and yes NWJNS did popularize the coming of age concept however didnt make it.

@@hydrasdiary trust me I’ve seen Newjeans fans saying that to other groups as well, so far there’s a slight y2k concept. It automatically becomes “they’re trying to copy Newjeans”.. this is the first time I would be commenting on it though. I still haven’t seen how Hybe is lazy with Illit concept.. they have two worlds fused into their concept.. having similarities doesn’t imply they’re a copy.. Le Serrafim came before Newjeans.. it would be absurd to say they were debuting with their concept anyway… at least let these girls debut first.. some of newjeans concepts were used by another group before them (whether it be more than a decade or not).. regardless of who the director was.. it doesn’t make it a lazy effort, it makes it an inspiration.. it’s not everything one has to turn into toxicity just for the sake of it. That’s all I’m saying
