It contradicts the status quo to acknowledge it. Turkiye flatters itself thinking it's a valid arbiter of human rights and no one wants to de stabilize the region by challenging them on it, due to strategic alliances with them including nuclear sharing between the USA and Turkiye.(Grants Turkiye access to United States' Nuclear capabilities in case of emergency) Even so, even if the Turks are our ally, today, we are allowed to acknowledge this. But the issue is , we don't want genuine calls for Turkiye to be considered an illegitimate State, because they're a key strategic ally of the United States. Yet at the same time their hypocrisy can become unbearable in the sense of calls for Israel not to exist and criticisms of it's treatment of opposing groups while denying the exact things they're guilty of. It's quite a precarious scenario.

Turkiye is a key ally in the form of Nuclear deterrent @ Russia. And therefore has United States' support in a lot of things. Therefore it often does challenge the status quo to criticize Turkiye. Even though as I said, their hypocrisy is unbearable as they point the finger and name that which they , themselves are guilty of.
