@@DonBeJ yeah, that's kind of the depressing thing. For me, that was a fun 5 hours! If it was a web2, I would have actually liked it! But then seeing the value associated with it just rips away the feeling of accomplishment. I'm not sure the best way to "fix" that.
can you imagine how good this whole thing would be if it wasent hard connected to crypto. i get it you can play free and earn to buy stuff but dude id rather just play the game and spend some cash. this is too many hoops for an average person to deal with just to enjoy a game.
@@Shaeuwu 100% agree. Hopefully we get there, where the crypto is "hidden" and you don't even have to know it's there if you don't want to mess with it.
@@Bulldog1205 They'll be staked for three months. You will be able to claim them immediately if you like, but you'll only get 50% if you do so. According to the latest announcement on Discord, they're planning to start distributing the rewards next week for those who want them right away and don't mind getting just 50% of them.
Why everyone only thinks about earning and not focus on the GAME instead? NFTs are just a nice to have bonus. Didn’t you play web2 games all your life before where you didn’t earn anything and lost everything after the server shutdown or whatever?
Because Illuvium has marketed almost exclusively to web3 gamers and 99% of them are in games to make a profit first. Hopefully Illuvium starts marketing to traditional gamers eventually, although I think they need to set up a method to buy items with fiat first.
