First, the cooling fan was bad, making a horrendous screeching sound while on, with no switch to turn it off.
Second, the front left double burner started going out randomly after lighting.
Third, the oven stopped working, literally does not light, in any configuration.
We called ILVE USA, also known as Superior Marketing in NYC, whom we bought the stove from.
There were no techs in our area, so I found a tech to come over, and Ilve sent a cooling fan (after three month wait) and a thermocouple.
In January, six months after purchase, The tech installed the cooling fan, which could not be tested since the oven won’t come on, and the thermocouple.
At the end of the tech’s service visit, not only did the original problems still exist, the two right burners, working normally that morning, would not light and stay on.
The tech ordered an “Igniter” (which says “transformer) and after a month it arrived. The valve ordered for the oven won’t arrive until July.
This month, May 2023, The tech installed the “Igniter” and worked on the stove for more than two hours.
After they left, the two right burners still will not light and stay lit, unless you light both of them at the same time.
The left front burner will not stay lit. Still.
The oven still doesn’t work
During the past year I’ve spent more than 12 hours on hold with IlveUSA. I’ve spoked to eight different people.
I’ve never received a call back from Customer Service, I have not been able to speak to a supervisor or manager, parts are still back ordered, and our range/oven still doesn’t work.
This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
