*sigh* i wish there was one in Ireland,I HAD TO FREAKIN' TEACH MYSELF MAGIC DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS!!!! I'M LUCKY I AT LEAST GOT A SPELL BOOK,oh and this really cool plether hogwarts notebook :).
Albus Dumbledore there probably is. But there is 11 BIG schools in the world, then there are many small ones that doesn’t really count. Many wizards decide to teach their children at home (aka home schooling). But you don’t have to be from England to go to Hogwarts, for example the Japanese school (don’t remember it’s name) it takes a huge amount of foreigners in, and I think all schools actually do. RIGHT ME IF IM WRONG
a nomaj is a muggle, they wouldn't even get to iIvermorny to begin with, so no statue wanting you does not mean you're a nomaj, it would mean you're neither a scholar (strong of mind), nor an adventurer (strong soul), nor a warrior (strong body), nor a healer (strong of heart), although I doubt that it is even possible to be none of them...
Tenebris Fractum the houses each represent one part of a wizard. The heart (Pukwudgie), the body (Wampus), the soul (Thunderbird), and the mind (Horned Serpent). So you have to have at least one quality of a wizard because to get to Ilvermorny in the first place you have to be a wizard.
yeah, I am mad at that too, but I heard it is because JK did a Rowling and made it offensive. I mean I can see that "william" wasn't the best choice, like they could make it a house but not "william". Unfortunately I do not think we can get a second chance, Rowling doesn't want to do anything with America because of that. rowling is also doing that twitter thing so I guess we have to wait until that whole thing is fixed
@@jackiehansen2421 That wouldnt work for me. I had to use a different quiz site in order to take it. Luckily they use the same questions as Pottermore so it's pretty much the same thing.
I'm also fairly certain that Massachusetts was well known for its cranberry bogs. Not sure if they are still going today, or if the bogs didn't get big until after Isolde came to MA. hmm...
“Does this mean this isn’t a real wand??!!” I mean it could or maybe you are a magical being and as muggles we can not see the magic because you put a concealment charm on the video. How sneaky of you Jon. Very sneaky indeed.
I love Hogwarts, don't get me wrong--but Ilvermorny sounds cool as heck. WE NEED AN ILVERMORNY SERIES!!!! And BTW, I identify as a Ravenclaw/Horned Serpent, but who knows how those statues would react?
I'm a Slytherin in Hogwarts, Horned Serpent in the American school and my Patronus is a grass snake. My friends and I have concluded I'm a Parsalmouth in the Potter Universe.
I'm a gryffinclaw (everything but pottermore said ravenclaw an pottermore said gryffindor), horned serpent, and my patrons is a Saint Bernard, which, coincidentally, is my favorite dog breed
I see the houses as complementary to each other Hogwarts represents what you value Ilvermorney represents what you rely on Gryffindor - Courage, Nobility Slytherin - Success, Ambition Ravenclaw - Creativity, Wisdom Hufflepuff - Loyalty, Industrious Horned Serpent - Mind Wampus - Body Pukwudgie - Heart Thunderbird - Soul
Another adder!! I was seriously wondering if I was the only one. I’m also in Slytherin. But I’m a Sagittarius Hmmmm.. both of ours make the sssssss sound 🤣
Could someone explain to a fellow Hufflpuff why they've got such a "bad" rep.? Or why they're like, the goofs of the wizarding world? I always came up with the explanation that it's 'cause they value loyalty, friendship and kindness and thus might be easy to bully around.. Or are sensitive..? Or...? I don't know! Help..? :$
LuBlue I think it's because Helga Hufflepuff and really Hufflepuff's in general tend to be more welcoming to muggle borns (because of their kindness), and many of them are muggle borns. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I think. :P
I'm in Pukwudgie (not sure how to spell it) and Hufflepuff... Yep that's me I'm so Hufflepuff you can get and I'm proud 💛⚫️ #Housepride #Hufflepuffforlife
Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, Thunderbird at Ilvermorny. Love my bird aesthetic, although Ravenclaw and Horned Serpent would've made more sense. Guess I'm a smart adventurer.
Horned Serpent - Mind, Scholars, Ravenclaw Pukwudgie - Heart, Healers, Hufflepuff Wampus - Body, Warriors, Slytherin Thunderbird - Soul, Adventurers, Gryffindor This is how I see the different houses alligning with each other, if you have any other ideas for which would be the equivalent of which, let me know And also, for me the Gryffindor and Slytherin were pretty interchangable for this one, so I just chose which made the most sense.
Ditto. I was so sure I was going to be Slytherin (been one for years :) ) and Horned Serpent because I've always seen myself as the scholarly type. I was shocked to get the Thunderbird! But it fits in a way, ambition can lead to an adventure and being cunning about how you go about things doesn't stop you from being soulful :)
I always felt JK missed an opportunity to have an American magical school in the MOST supernaturalish place in America- New Orleans Louisiana. The Swamp would have been a killer location for a magic school.
Thunderbird for the WIN! Was very happy I got sorted into the Thunderbirds, Thunderbirds are like super awesome, I've always loved the idea of a bird that can burp lightning and clap thunder by flying.
I'm a Slytherin and a Horned Serpent. Hm... EDIT: I just took all the tests again because I had to make a new account (long story, don't ask) And I ended up with this: Patronus: Hedgehog Hogwarts House: Slytherin Illvermorny House: Thunderbird Wand: Larch wood with a Dragon heartstring core 9 ½" and Quite Bendy flexibility
Same!! Though I really love horned serpent’s background story a lot, and its healing properties, but it turns out a Thunderbird fits slightly more for me.
Interesting how Ilvermorny has a house like Ravenclaw (Horned Serpent), one like Hufflepuff (Pukwudgie), and two like Gryffindor (Wampus and Thunderbird). No clearly evil-leaning house there...or perhaps the dark arts could spring up in any house and would have to be equally resisted by all four?
