Sun, moon, earth, are all half siblings (different dads) their mother took many husbands as she ruled over the kingdom.
Gemini speaks in a language that her people used. Its made up of hand gestures and tail movements. She can speak minimal english from lunar teaching her. (Also a thing on Gemini’s pronouns in this au. After being called “the monster” for years in the aquarium they kinda forgot what pronouns were. So when lunar asked they didn’t understand. In this au they are female. So she/they is good)
Anyways earth used to be the queen after her mom died. She practically raised sun and moon because they were only about 6 and 7 when galaxy died. There was a war with the shark people and thats how their mother died. Before galaxy died earth laid an egg. Lunar. Earth knew that with her mom dead she had to keep lunar safe. She fled the kingdom with lunars egg leaving sun in charge. 14 years passed sense that day. Lunar calls her mom no matter how many times she says not to call her mom. Earth didn’t want to save gemini from the aquarium because they looked so much like a shark. She wasn’t sure if they were dangerous or not. Earth used a spell to make lunar into the closed thing to them they could find. She made them both look like robots. Human spells were to risky. But when lunar came in contact with the ocean the spell broke, turning him back into a mermay. Oh also random thing but gemini has a slightly African sounding accent. Just saying :3
