Awesome season finale and what a ride it was! As you saw in discussion I was conflicted but that in my opinion is a sign of a great story. Thanks for watching along with me!

I don't think it's possible for anyone seriously immersed into this story to not feel so conflicted about everything. Especially these final episodes. But in general the whole show has so many character moments where you think "that was nice/good, but why did you do it like that, would have been better that other way" and so on. Nothing is quite perfect. I've never seen an anime before where so often I was still thinking about the previous episode up until the next one aired. Just trying to sort out my thoughts and feelings. Truly an emotional roller coaster.

12:24 Luckily Norn? What? I'm glad that Norn's hypocrisy was called out. Her little outburst hurt everyone there in the room. Syplhie was actually shutting her up and in the novel she was way more harsher towards her than in the anime. I would have liked to see that Sylphie. Norn really had the gall to say to Rudeus that he had it easy? lol. He was suffering the most from Pauls dead. He saw Paul die in front of his eyes, he saw him cut in half, he lost his hand, he felt responsible for it and shut himself in his room for weeks and stopped eating. Norn forced him to go to Begaritt even though he wanted to stay with Sylphie and she dares to tell him that he had it easy? And also her just saying that he had nothing better to do then to sleep with another woman is also simple black white thinking and not how it really happened. Did you see the shot on Aisha how she was just sitting there saying nothing while Norn was ranting. How must she have felt? And then the Roxy slander saying how she dares to barge in. Well without Roxy Rudeus would also have been dead just like Paul and he also wouldnt have come home. Roxy actually planned to leave. She knew that Rudy would go back to his wife and she knew that she would hurt herself if she slept with him but she still wanted to help him get out of his state even it it meant hurting herself her whole life. Rudy never planned on marrying her until Elinalise brought that up. And last she was speaking for Sylphie even though she had no right to do so. Syplhie is the only one who has the right to say something about this situation. But even with all that I wont blame Norn to strongly cause she actually has a good excuse. She is a little girl, she doesnt really know what happened and she just was told that her dad died. So that was a lot for her little brain to take in and it explains why she wanted to lash out at anything. But that means that I cant really excuse other people who agree with Norn here since other people should be adults, they should know about what really happened and they should be capable of rational thinking instead of black white thinking. Sylphie was adult enough to realize that and that its thanks to Roxy that her husband made it back home alive.

The way I see it (Keep in mind I'm anime only as of now) it's really on Rudy for having this conversation with everyone involved from the get go. If he doesn't want Norn and them to be upset (rightfully, keep in mind they're the ones that watched Sylphie suffer throughout hoping Rudy was ok) don't invite them to the very first time you bring this up to Sylphie. After the reaction and in editing I did think about it further (Keep in mind reacting is just first thoughts and I was personally iffy about the situation) I think it was childish of Norm to go as far as she did but I don't blame her for being upset though. As you said she's a kid and a lot just got thrown her way. End of the day I think this showed everyone's flawed one way or another but at the same time showed that despite the flaws they all do deeply care about each other. And that's a big part of why I love the show.

Also thanks for pointing it out! I think sometimes at the expense at getting my thoughts out asap I do catch myself (especially in the edit) saying some stuff I didn't exactly word well etc or I didn't fully complete my thought on but I'll work on that haha

@@flavorgod morally correct on the basis on what? Our world's morals? She's not morally correct in the sense of the story, she's litterally hammering her religion onto her brother who doesn't give a damn about it
