This is called garage rock. This is one of the most fun kooky songs. Brings back a lot of memories hearing this when I was younger. And the video is absolutely hilarious. This song was actually a combination of two R&B hits by "The Rivingtons", "The Bird's The Word" & "Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow".

You can tell you have lost 15 # I have lost 60#. If you can’t go to the gym, just go walking! Eat only when you are hungry and only till you feel full but not stuffed. Also use a smaller plate and fill it up.Also get some Apple Cider Gummies

I remember reading somewhere that the guy in the video was a comedian lip-syncing the original recording of the song. Anyone know if that's true? Kinda makes sense when the song was apparently recorded by an entire group of musicians called "The Trashmen", yet there's just this one guy dancing around in the video.

There is a video clip of The Trashmen performing live on American Bandstand in 1964 (the performance is similar to the video shown in the above reaction). This performance also shows just the lead singer, Steve Wahrer, who was also the drummer for the band. At the end of the clip, Dick Clark interviews Steve who confirms there are three other members in the band. Why they're not shown, I don't know. I do know they were out of Minneapolis, Mn. And "Bird is the Word" was pretty much they're only hit.
