There are beautiful, unique and inexpensive secondhand treasures just waiting for you. These items can be found at your local goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift stores in your area. Thrifting can be a challenge but very rewarding and worth the hunt! Some of my favorite things to thrift for are home décor items, name brand clothing, vintage items and anything unique or handmade!

Jessica, I must commend you for being a discerning thrifter. It is important for us all to shop for the things that are right for our lifestyles rather than buying in a less than thoughtful manner. I thought I saw a Revere ware pot....I did love the wooden foot stool but thought the price at 10.98 a little high..Even without a purchase ,it's a great video!

I liked the milk glass plates with the scalloped edges. I have never seen anything like those. Also liked the Marjolein Bastin print. That would have come home with me!

Loved the chair! I've been collecting single chairs, mostly small ones. I use themas decor and to sit plants on or other decor on. This one couldn't be used for a plant of course, but its beautiful! Oh I loved the oil lamp with the handle, would love to add that to my collection😊 Really liked the little wooden stool, sweet. Enjoyed!😊

I have changed my habits ..I have to say I have learned to be more selective just because I recently moved and had a lot in bins and boxes I had accumulated over the years ..a year and a half ago I started to only purchase things that were useful I donated back and gave away to family and friends ..learning to be selective has been great because now I’m not overwhelmed and a bit more organized 😊

*Greetings friend Jessica!* i went thrifting recently and got several things, including a mug made in Scotland, with an artistic rendition of a scene from Banbury, a British town that we lived near when we live in a town named Brackley, located in Norhamptonshire England in the mid-1970s. there is a nursery rhyme about Banbury, which is included on the mug: "Ride a cock-horse to Banbury Cross, To see a fine lady upon a white horse; Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes, And she shall have music wherever she goes." hahaha! i also got several small bisque teddy bear figurines, including a male and female teddy bear, each holding an easter egg. very cute, even it it was already the day before easter. i got several other things the day i went thrifting, but that mug and the teddy bear figurines were perhaps the most interesting things, lol. Hi Jessica hey I total get it that’s what’s thrifting is all about some days you come out with a full cart sometimes not I loved the flowers in the vase in the being and the oil lamp I have my grandfathers collection so I would of definitely bought that and the plate with the bunny on it that said happy spring love it always injoy watching take care

I think you should only buy items that you know will be a great gift or something you would love. That is better than buying something you may regret later. As far as Ray Dunn items, the value depends on when it was made. An early Rae Dunn "Nest creamer" is worth $200

I am seeing hordes of resellers at all of our thrift stores. They show up first thing and load of their carts with everything of any value and clog up the aisles doing Google Image searches. I have been finding only an occasional one or two items these days. I used to find so much.

Hey lady, I hope your day is going well. I don't think your luck is running out. I just think that stone bowl was such a find, its going to be hard to top it off 😂. I only saw two things 1 I could use the other I need. That large basket w lid, I have but my lid is finally coming apart. That large wood bowl, I'd drill holes in the bottom to move my biggest 🌵 and all her children into. I noticed a lot of schools shut down early in Tn. today, due to the wind that we are going to get. So tonight should be loud and interesting but not as fun as picking all the stuff back up tomorrow it blows around and over. Plus down the road and across in the field. My mother still has rugs missing from last weeks storm. I hope it misses y'all over in N.C. Be safe either way it blows- 🌷 I will catch you next time, miss Peanut- 🌷🐾🐾💗 P.S, Jessica, how is Hannah? I figured school and life has her busy these days. I remember how time consuming growing up is- 💗 Please, say hello!

Even though I don’t need them, I would’ve bought the first two ceramic plates. I probably would’ve bought the ceramic wine goblet and the iridescent wine goblet even though I have no need for any of them. I am surgeon that iridescent ones at one point came champagne.

The pottery mugs with the interesting markings I think were possibly used for Jewish holidays. The letters looked Hebrew. Unsure, but maybe someone knows.

Oh trust me, I go to other thrift stores all the time but there's nothing even worth filming let alone buying. 😣 I have the best overall luck at Goodwill. They get the best donations. I did go to the Salvation Army last week. I found a couple of things but it was pretty bare and overpriced. That video will be out later today at 7:00 p.m. Thank you so much for watching. 💕👍
