not sure how any of this works but is it fairly easy to know who the broker is exactly and share their info to other truckers? this way you can boycott that broker as it were
That broker lady was all SORTS of frustrated..she was FIRM on that 7,000 price like there was NO wiggle room if they can't get the freight moved by anyone then they are just going to have to pay way more ..or take a huge loss. And that government contract might be jeopardized....don't want that
@Bigbennii lol that's what that frustrated lady was thinking..I don't know why she didn't want to pay you more ...that freight has probably been sitting for awhile now and all the requirements you need just to haul it because it's a government load.
Yoooo let Pops know l do my pre trip errrrrrrmorning lol!!!! Saved my ass when my old truck took a 💩, being a company driver I’ve got to cover my ass! Loved the video, Pops is hilarious 😂
Yea bro that freight guard stuff is wack. I had a broker put my company on there and I have never worked with them and I called them and asked they said because my dot number didn’t come up when they searched it so that’s why… straight bs bro. I was a new carrier too so that affected me bad bro. But like u said that sh*t is unfair fr.
Dude, isn't this the second time your dispatcher done booked a load snd didn't thoroughly vett the load, just for it to be written on the ratecon, no matter how small the writing? Shiiii, never allow a freight guard. I would have got the tarps and have them sign off.
I'm wondering if this is the new way of black ballin high rate per mile carriers; been seeing and hearing of a bunch of carriers getting "freight guards" placed on their MC# for petty incidents that are totally one sided and if any reasonable person heard the entire situation would see things differently, nor agree with the "freight guard". You guys will get through this and I wish the very best for your team. Stay Blessed, Stay Safe
Tough break on the fg! Also you had a bolt missing & yall bought a whole kit why not just buy the bolt? The smell you smelt was the clutch on the compressor probably could have got away with just replacing the clutch instead of the whole compressor since you said you not to long ago had it replaced.
Then we need to do the exact same thing to the brokers. Make a list make it official. All info pertaining to them, and everything they have done wrong bad or indifferent. Drivers and companies will be able to know what to expect with these assholes.
Ots like life situations benni no matter all the good you do then you "maybe" do one thing bad and they focus on the one bad thing yrs it sucks but yall will still come up.....
I don't carry over 80k, so I'm curious. How are you allowed to carry over 34k on tandem drives? I would think that a permitted load would still have to fall within the axle weight limits and restrictions?
Where brokers report carriers and carriers can’t do anything about the report . The report shows up to other brokers and they may turn you down for work
Has to be one piece of Freight not two or more pieces to be legal. Only if the trailer is built that way where they put several pieces together bolted or welded to the trailer as a module.
Need a broker boycott, not a broker guard. This entire mess is unsustainable. Brokers should be outlawed. Low rates, more carrier and driver requirements, higher trucking costs, shippers and mega carriers always crying not enough drivers, foriegners working for peanuts, emission controlled expensive trucks that constantly breakdown for no real reasons. Truck repair and parts cost thru the roof. Autonomous electric trucks otta fix all these problems. Lol
There are a lot idiots running around, but the brokers will wake them up to bankruptcy or huge debt. Brokers will eventually kill capacity, and I won't be so forgiven.
