The basics of image reconstruction using positron emission tomography (PET) - starting with how to model the acquired data in two different ways.
Three types of data are considered: sinograms, backprojected images and list-mode data
Two data models are considered: convolution and the 2D x-ray transform (2D Radon transform)

Thank you very much for the great explanation professor. I am wondering what is the simulation tool which you have used at the end of the lecture. Is it publicly available ?

Many thanks for the kind feedback. I wrote code from scratch for the simulations used in this video, and I don't think my code would be suited to public release, but thanks for asking!
