Hi James Burke, its Mike McCann ere mate, avnt seen you since leaving school in 1978 but hope your well mate. Just been watching the vids about the school, great memories. Teachers Mick Ryan, Harkness,Bradley, Mr. Ludgun, Pe Quinn, Ms Massey, Ms Mather lol, wonder are they still about. I see a lot of peeps around too but not as often now, anyone that remembers me from school "hello", take care James.
It doesn't seem like 36 years ago since I left fisher more happy times and great memories still see people about town who I knew then and still know now. John Birch, Paul Williams ,Tommy Cain, Ste Middlehurst ,Glenn Magan , Chris Cassidy , John Mckeown and probably plenty more who wouldn't recognise me now ha ha
james michael burke I don't know how I stumbled across this video. But there's some names on this list I remember, I left the tear after you. There was 2 Tommy Cain's 1 year apart. The one I think you're referring to is Helen's brother. The other one was in my year. I also know Chris Cassidy from my day's at St Marie's Primary School. BTW my name is Rick(Ricky Purcell). You may know my sister Angela. Although she moved schools after the second year. So maybe not.
Thanks Wendy. What a disgrace the demolition of that magnificently school was. There's a film of 'The Last Dance' in the school building here on youtube also. It's in three parts. I could not get it upload as one film despite adjusting my settings.
