yeah, what rosy said. To me its scary because i feel like there will be nothing to pop out of nowhere, like there will never be anything for the rest of eternity.
I wouldn’t say I’m particularly “scared” by these places, but the thought of being alone in this strange world with absolutely no one else to explore with you strikes a bit of dread and emptiness into me.
A little story for all these images: Disclaimer: None of these stories are real and all fictonal. 0:00 You work here as your job, Its just an average day at work. Then out of your corner of your eyes you see a figure you can't quite make out what it is freaked out, you run to the nearest exit. 0:13 You made it out of the play area at work, Confused you run and baracate yourself in a nearby playplace 0:20 Your boss assigned everyone back to there cubicals everything was fine. But suddenly everything becomes quite, To quite. you look over your cubical to see everyone GONE! 0:26 You make it back to your house absoulutly freaking out your confused and think "Am I just Dreaming..? Is this all Real..?" 0:31 You make it to a nearby hotel to find... No one..?at this point you think of suicide but want to keep exploring. 0:37 you run back down to the lobby ready to leave but...No one here either you accept that at this point mabey there just pranking you it is april 1st after all. 0:43 You go the the gym and NOPE no one here either 0:49 After heading of to your faimilys house to see if they exist but something seems different about there house something feels off VERY off 0:56 You head to the pool in there house to see it JUNKED 1:02 you run into the tree house and grab your grandfathers shotgun to feel safe 1:09 Looking out of the treehouse you see a bright full moon but the neightborhood and the neighbors house all look the same reality slips in and you start to realise this is not a prank. 20 likes and ill finish and add a 2 paragraph story for every single image Please dont like my comment to fast i need time to work on this I was expenting a little bit more time to work on this but here you all GO! 1:14 very creeped out you wonder what's going on with the knowledge that humanity is whipped out you cant help to wonder what happened. With multiple things going through your mind you gain the courage to get up and start exploring after exploring the entire mall just to find nothing you grabbed some food and started to fall asleep. You wake up in an abandoned apartment complex very trashed. You realise this place was abandoned very long ago, you find a room specifically room 543 and the door appears to be locked. You force the door open since it is very old. You see an unmade bed, some blood, and lots of footprints splattered on the mud on the floor. The draw appears to be ages old and looks like it's rotting out. You open one of the draws and see a paper and a pencil and a note. You read the note and it says “I'm coming for you…” You start to run to the exit and hear something behind you. Your vision goes black…… Waking up you realise it was all a dream and sit in panic for a few moments before gaining the courage to get out of your seat. You take your food and head off to the road. 1:21 You have some chicken and candy from the store and some other supplies to but not enough to last you even a full month The car needs some gas so you go back in the store and steal 4 full galons of gas and stuff then in the back of your truck, fill the car up and start driving, your not really sure were your going but as long as its somewere else from this altered reality. You've been driving for a few hours and dont really know were you go, on your way you look for any sighs of human life but *Nothing* You found nothing. you think of heading to your old home but you know you were evicted so who will be there to stop you? But when you come to think about it your old home is near south caralina and your in the south so you just think of finding a home you can find very pleasing to stay at. HOUR 5 Youve been driving for quite a while and your gas is running low you have passed a few houses and now just got on the interstate you dicide to keep going for a few miles and just settle in for the night. 1:27 You found a nearby home your not really sure if you like it but it will have to do you park your car in the driveway and start to unload your car but this place, It seems so... How should i put this? Familier and slightly altered. You switch on the lights and see a stair case leading to the 2nd story of the house you decide to sleep up there but there's a bedroom down here anyway. The furniture seems odd Its very *Beutifull* The outside of the house is covered in mold and rotting but the inside is nice and clean and not even stain is on the floor, this creeps you out but you dont care to much You let out a faint gulp as you enter the dinning room but nope nothing just an empty room with a dinner table and some chairs it seems very dark to even though these lights seen you walk around the room and open a draw located near the door and open it inside is a note, It appears to be writen in veitnamese lukely for you you know a bit of vietnam and make out some words.... -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | | | Nếu bạn đang đọc vị | \ | chúa tể tốt bụng này, | \ |ghi chú này mất quá | \ | /_-------------_-------------------____-_| | |--------------___ | | | |||\ | nhiều thời gian để \ | thực hiện vì vậy xin \ | | | vui lòng xem xét \ | thích nhận xét của tôi? :) \ | \ | \ | \ |--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| 1:34 HUH!!!??! you were just in this weird house, At least thats what you remember but now your here... You can smell the sent of what seems like... Your not sure but you definently feel something quite off you check your pockets and sure enough your flashlight, wallet, car keys, and food is all GONE. Paniced you run as fast as you can to that odd smell and just hope to god its food. HOUR 1 You never really found anything but just more rooms and more wires and carpet in a final resort you grab a chair and put it next to an air ventalation system and climb up you keep crawling and start to fall asleep your eye lids begen to become heavier and HEAVIER and then you hear something, It sounds so loud... AH you get it its a air fan those things that spin around very fast to create air! You turn the cornor and yes...... It was an air vent.. You try to stop yourself from going any closer to it but its to late. AHHHHHH AHAHAJAAS JIR FB *Your finger and arm are both gone* Screaming in pain you start to move to much and then BAP the air vent falls right below you and you fall down back into the seemingless endless tunnels 1:35 You start to fall asleep *yawn* ohh my godd my arm is freaking gone. *you collapse on the floor and go to sleep* 1:38 huh...? Huh?! WHAT!?! you start to hear bells chiming and your awake now you realise your sitting on the stairs and you look over your shoulder and see.. NOTHING? nope not anything. you wonder were those bells are coming from and then you see it. A MASSIVE you dont even know what it is but your sure you have to explore it or starve to death because there nothing here for miles or at least you cant SEE anything.. Wait? Whats that? what w h a t? WHAT HELP HELP AHHAHHAH WHAT IS THAT THING.!?!?!? *static *static *static *static
I’m actually fairly unfazed by this one which is odd considering one of these sorts of videos I watched made my anxiety go up so high I had to take a moment to calm down
"Day 38, I'm absolutely losing my mind, I thought writing this would help me keep my sanity, but I just can't don't feel I'm being watched every step I take."
As a guy addicted to architecture and interior design, I'm the least scared or creeped out by this photos ... I'm more concerned on how some of them just ... Why do they look like *that* .
It's not meant to scare you, it's made to make you feel uneasy since a normal person will subconsciously notice something is off, so it's actually working quite well on you because the feelings are real for you
Can you explain more about that feeling, like you're into architecture and interior design what do you see wrong in this in architectural and interior design terms
how to make them feel weird : 1. have weird bgm playing 2. don't put any humans at all 3. have a preferrably dark picture 4. grab as many different unsettling colours as possible (tbh, a lot of these pics look ok compared to other cursed videos imo)
I think the most creepy part about this is not the fact that the pictures are there to make you uncomfortable but that the lighting in the rooms with the feeling of being alone makes you scared like you're living a childhood memory that you never had
@@foobarbazquux I would probably do that if this happened to me. Killing myself is better than putting myself through the fear of being alone for ~80 years.
@@xnottoday_ I think it would be scarier if there wasn't. The person just walks around for an hour and then it suddenly ends, nothing ever happening. People try to understand but they'll never know if it has a theme or purpose
@@rebeccaclinton928 A japanese thomas ride, the scene has been modified, Percy now faces the opposite direction, oliver faces the shed, and it is now a party scene
I once had a dream with staircases that went up to the clouds, and at the top, was a platform, but it was impossible to reach, almost like the Mario 64 situation
This would be a cool horror game where you have to switch between different terrifying reality-altering places on a mission to save somebody or retrieve something stuck in time
I wonder what would happen if an ai generated images like these. It would be especially creepy because you know nobody took the picture, the place doesn’t even exist.
The thought of being completely alone scares me to death. Not because I feel like somebody's watching me or that something will appear in the dark. Just the thought of being 100% alone, by yourself.
My dear when that coffin lid gets shut we are all alone connected through soil given back to the earth cease to exist get more comfortable being alone all we have is ourself.
@@cosmiccrush22 I am actually pretty chill at being alone, I am my best friend. But I know that at least some miles from me is another human being, you know? Now, imagine being alone in a planet. No people whatsoever, that scares the shit out of m
A similar feeling washed over me once after I stayed after school for studying. I passed the cafeteria to get to my locker and replayed the same conversation from me and my friends earlier that day, then felt... alone.. just amplified. Cause I was always feeling alone with them
Where the survivors got together, eventually they got restless after months and with diminishing supplies began to roam alone until one day... no one came back.
"What happened to that earth? Why life is unexisted? Why that world is twisted? Why those dreams trapped me? Who destroyed life? How life was destroyed? Why he/she destroyed life? How that world is twisted? Who twisted that world? Why that world is twisted? How can I bring back life? How can I untwist that universe?"
These places are pretty spooky, why don’t I name them... 0:01 Your dad looking for the milk POV 0:07 The employee room in Chuck E. Anyways, I stared at all of those images for way too long so I’m going to go look at some kittens, Adios!
Same, I'm just like "That's just a hotel's reception area" or "That's a supermarket". And I never get scared of the lack of people in the pictures since I just assume they happen during the night shift. The guy taking the picture is the janitor/guard.
When I was little I would imagine being in a house like 0:54 in my head, being with a family I don’t know and it used to make me feel very odd. If that’s even a house?
oddly enough, this just feels familiar. like this is just some weird intense deja vu. but the pure fact you dont even recognize anything, you feel lost and get that sense of panic of not knowing where to go.
i wasnt born before 2005 , but i kinda knew through pics. also im someone who believes in past life .. so .,. everything from late 70's to late 2000's is familiar to me
@@r4yyans___ yea dud, I was lonely in my dark room. So I thought let's give it a view maybe this video is that kind of short funny ones. But tf I watched, I called my sister. I'm scared af help
Should be renamed to “places that feel oddly nostalgic thought you’ve never been there” it gives me memories I’ve never had, of times I’ve never lived, in a world like ours but alone and constant.
you know none of these are really creepy. just imagine a janitor somewhere and it makes sence. or the janitor is the one taking the picture. this is the night world in which he lives.
Or think about the person taking the picture. They're not in frame, but they're there. Perhaps that's the feeling of being watched that people get from this video.
Its supposedly that it looks like somewhere you've been, but no one's there, it's like revisiting your past but with no people, as if no one ever existed in the first place, you're the only creature in the world, it's not necessarily scary, more of uneasy or nerve racking
We think these places are "weird" not because it is "scary", but because it's empty, the feeling of being alone in these places is very frightening, it's like being the only person left at your job. The feeling of being alone in a place where nobody is around makes you fell unconfortable and start thinking: "What if... Someone is here ? What if... I'm not alone ?"
My dad closed up the building he works in and me and my brother were with him a work one day and all the lights were out, we were waiting for him and I saw something move out of the corner of my eye I flipped out, (it was just my dad tho)
@@Lavenderthecat Because people aren't like you, and it's not about lonelyness, it's about being alone in a place that COULD HAVE someone or somenthing scary.
I remember back in 3rd grade where we used to celebrate birthday's in school cafeteria's, but then it got a little bit twisted, it was normal at first then we saw a person we never saw before on school, we asked that person if he worked here or not, he didn't reply but he did reply when it was lunch break, he said "don't turn around and feel frightened as they come for your soul" and I was confused, until later I turned around, the school was empty, noone was in the tables nor in the floor eating, I was shocked, then I was like "ok, its just an imagination, if I blink or punch myself I will go back to reality" I tried doing it but I can't go back, then there where this bags on the ceiling, atleast 50+ bags, I was terrified as I knew that the bags where....yeah you get the point, then I came back for idk what reason, it is normal now. lol don't worry it isn't real, its just a dream or so called nightmare I had in my sleep XD
0:13 both fascinates and creeps me out. I don’t like “corporate” play areas, for some reason. The bright and happy vivid colors in a stuffy office backdrop bring back an odd feeling that I used to experience as a child. Reminds me of the first time I went to a Discovery Zone as a kid. I thought it was gonna be just like Chuck E Cheese, but better. The TV advertisements made it seem like an awesome place. But in reality, it was actually pretty underwhelming and...soulless. The Discovery Zone was basically in a refurbished Piggly Wiggly, the jungle gyms were very worn-out, most of the games were broken/out of service, and the staff seemed very jaded and uninterested in everything. Yet, all the other kids were having a blast and oblivious to it all. I just remember getting this odd feeling that I wanted to leave after awhile, that this place was “empty” despite all the other children and parents there.
@MCXP // Minecraft X-pert LMAO same I remember building stations and sets and rails with my books scales, clip boards and pencil boxes, using my sisters hairband as a gate, and then a pencil box with my sisters abacus tied to it at bottom with a rubber band to make the trains, and I used to do that "chu-chu-chu" sound while moving them and remember there was a person saying all the dialogues in Thomas and friends??? And so I muttered my own dialogues....... *OMG IT WAS SO CRINGE* -
0:40 this one gives me the most unexplainable feeling i can experience, i remember some of the places that i went to and was similar to this but never like this, this is weird but cool at the same time , i love liminal spaces
It's the average badly built 90's office without windows. These videos are basically about crappy architecture designs and mistakenly turned-on flashlights of the cameras. Some sort of dreams are really like these places, that's why they are familiar. At least for me, I remember more dreams than people around me.
My dreams aren’t like unicorns and colorful strange lands like you may think. They’re basically altered reality. Sometimes, memories are different in this universe, like, something was always there and I always remember it when it doesn’t even exist at all. It’s weird.
You know, I'm not sure what freaks me out more. Pictures that show to my Fragmented childhood, Pictures with barely any colors giving me a dreadful feeling, or those empty white rooms with an uneven placement of lights.
This deja vu makes me feel so uncomfortable and I don’t know why. Just a few minutes ago I was in the car and looking outside gave me this same feeling and I just felt so uncomfortable for some reason and I don’t know why. It’s just so odd
They say these are supposed to make you feel uncomfoecause because no one is seen in these pictures but they make me feel comfortable just because there is no body around. Also the first image looks like something I imagined once.
And the second image is a Thomas The Tank Engine image like am I seriously gonna be so uncomfortable on a Picture of my favourite Childhood show that isn't a remotely scary picture at all?
I actually don't feel uncomfortable, I found most of these images very cool, their unique type of style make it very cool from my POV, without the music for me it's just a bunch of cool images, on the other hand I found out that I'm scared from things that are too normal that is the opposite of this.
Don't know how to say this but it makes me feel lonely, but not super scared. Makes me feel like I have no parents and nothing to do but explore. Most of these pictures remind me of my childhood watching goosebumps, but still a weird feeling
My dad used to be the electrician fixing lights at my day care center and would take me there while he worked on weekends when it was empty. This is basically what it felt like
Imagine being in a universe where only you exist. Not as if there are no people around, but as if there really are no other people in this entire universe. To imagine the specific and unique feeling of loneliness that this causes is incredible and at the same time frightening.
i would probably enjoy my life for a bit i mean i would miss my family but i can just go to the store get some free food, explore the city, explore the world, i mean no one will be there to stop me
What if dreams are actual places? Like- not real life places but something more spiritual. Maybe that explains how most of the people here feel like they’ve been there before? 🕳🏃♀️
I like to think that these worlds and dimensions we visit in our dreams are we from a parallel dimension Like, you dream about a zombie apocalipse, may you changed bodies with yourselve from that dimension, you went from your body from this dimension to your parallel body in a apocalipse zombie dimension. Crazy
Theory- The strangers in Nightmare are people stuck in hell Purgatory is a normal dream like these Good dreams are people in heaven We have infinite lives I wish its real
Science can’t explain WHY we dream although they have “theories” it’s believed other animals do it too. There must be some kind if interconnected web between all of us where our energy seems to travel through the same network. Ours soul if you will. Like when you have a dream and you wake up the next morning feeling like you got no sleep at all, a draining adventure. Or when you jolt awake in a sweat after being attacked in a nightmare or falling to your doom. Your energy returns to your sleeping dormancy in fear of what they encountered. Or when you lucid dream and your mind and energy are in perfect sync with one another, in dreams like that I feel like every “person” within the dream stops and stares at me. As if they know that I know where I am. It never occured to me WHY we have (REM) in our sleep. If our body is resting why do we have nights where we have vivid dreams and nights where we have no dreams at all. We are in no control of where our mind takes us, only watch on and experience. Our dreams are our truth, what we see us nothing suppressed and nothing lied about. What if dreams connect us to the afterlives of others? Every near death experience I’ve read about or heard of has been different from the other, what if dreams are the encapsulation of other worlds or past lives we’d lived throughout millions of years. Parallel wormholes maybe? How com we see places like this and know exactly what it is? How come we can all recognize it and feel a comfort or an uneasiness? We may never know.
@@na0l886 what if when you dream something, you’ve created an alternate universe for someone else to visit one day. Which is why these images look familiar.
I’ve had experiences where I felt the same I do when looking at these pictures. Once when I was at my aunt and uncle’s wedding as a child and I was in this absolutely massive but barren party room with a few oddly placed chairs. Nobody was renting it so I was sent there to go play. I was all by myself in this massive, warm colored room, it was completely silent and devoid of anything really. It was kind of creepy, the feeling of being alone with no people around in a massive lifeless room The second time was when I was in a mental health hospital, the group I was with moved on to another section of the building for activities and I was late to it and by the time I got into the cold hallway everyone was gone. Nobody was at the desk at the moment. I was in this weird hospital area all by myself and it was silent and dim and cold. While no where near as odd looking and creepy as the photos in this video, it gave me a similar feeling.
I think being solitary should pretty much help with this. Imagine a solitude person watching a place filled with life with nursery songs. They would feel the same as us.
