I always think these stripped down sets are so refreshing! I think a lot of their more recent music leans too much on digital effects and voice modulation, but these sets are a great reminder they still have that raw talent that we all fell in love with in the beginning. Love this band and always will! ❤️
I’d probably faint if Dan was that close to me. His emotional music and performances are breathtaking. There are too many songs on Mercury that hit hard and I can’t listen to them because I breakdown every time. You don’t listen to Imagine Dragons songs, you feel them
Oh my Gosh!!! Next to Me!!! This is the most beautiful I've ever heard it done! This is my our wedding song, and it literally brought tears to my eyes! I have heard it live and stripped down before, but not like this. WOW!!! Just beautiful.
Long time ID fan here, and now on my way to being a professional drummer and producer thanks to the influence of their music in my early years! I’ve often wondered why they’ve relied so heavily on digital manipulation and processing since Evolve - not to say it’s necessarily bad, as I love many songs from the last few albums (especially Loom!) - but when you have a band of such skilled musicians with such beautiful songs, I’d love it if they allowed more of that rawness and band energy to make it onto the final records - just watch their performance of Clouds (Live In Vegas 2010 iirc) or the live versions of Radioactive, Hopeless Opus, even Take Me to the Beach here with that gorgeous solo! They’ve always been such a tight group and their early EPs are brimming with really unique indie band songs that would beat out anything in the charts today. It’s something we’re desperately missing in 2024 and I think it would do wonderful things for reframing their image (especially in the UK, which is - unfairly - that of an overproduced pop band). I definitely think that Loom is a step in the right direction though, loads of fun and energy with more of that band vibe, and Fire In These Hills is their best song since I Was Me imo. Big love to the Dragons and everyone!
The more lives I hear the better these guys get! Some of their darker music videos used to scare me away, but they are SOOOO awesome live, just beautiful! The energy is thick. Real musicians playing real instruments is not that common anymore. Love it
Literally the best most intimate show ever ! I had an amazing time seeing my favorite band ! And getting such a special moment! Thank you KROQ ! 22:04 ❤
There is still hope in music ...thanx to sucha bands.... 80s born save the music coz they grew up on good music...Eyes closed is my new on repeat song 🖤 Dan seems amazingly kind and humble man. Hope to see you in Stockholm or Warsaw
We moved from San Antonio TX to Cedar Rapids, IA & IMAGINE DRAGONS NEVER CAME TO EITHER CITY!! One of my favorite current bands as I am an older rocker from the 70s & 80s but have yet to see these guys LIVE!! PLEASE Imagine Dragons add Cedar Rapids IA to your tour schedule SOON!!! 😢❤
Fire in These Hills Imagine Dragons I don't think that I'm strong enough I don't think that I'm enough And I know that you think about everything I did wrong, but I do too Staying up these nights, drinking everything, I got nothing without you I fear I might die alone, I fear I might knock and no one's home Staying up these nights, thinking everything that I did wrong to you I don't think that I'm strong enough I'm never enough 'Cause there's fire in these hills And I think I've lost the will The more we try, the more we fail But after everything, you're here with me still 'Causе there's fire in thеse hills And I think I've lost my will The more we try, the more we fail But after everything, you're here with me still Gonna turn this car around, open up, sit down, tell you all the truth Gonna fade myself out, talkin' myself down, lighting up this fuse I fear I might wreck this home I fear I might knock and no one comes And I know you think about everything that I did wrong, but I do too I don't think that I'm strong enough 'Cause there's fire in these hills And I think I've lost my will The more we try, the more we fail But after everything, you're here with me still 'Cause there's fire in these hills And I think I've lost my will The more we try, the more we fail But after everything, you're here with me still I'm so tired, can I please come home? I've run so far, can I, can I come home? I'm so tired, can I please come home? I've run so far, can I, can I come home? I'm so tired, can I please come home? I've run so far, can I, can I come home? @@lenoxx2355The 'original thing' you said is so nonsense. People keep using it as a way to debate with other people who complain about replacing Platz. Firstly, Andrew wasn't there when ID kept on working in 2011. Platz joined the band later but he has worked for an entire more than twleve years with ID. That more than twleve years was the upside down of ID, from NV to Mercury Act 2, from harsh time to glory time. They made so many things, many emontion and many memories have been created. Plus, Platz is also so talented. Therefore, origin or unorigin, that doesn't matter as long as Platz doing his best for the band. Besides, neither Platz nor Andrew was not the original member of the band. Even Wayne and Ben aren't the original one either. Only Dan is the original one here. Isn't it ridiculous to compare two people to see who is more original than the other? I love both Andrew and Platz. But I have started followed ID in their S+M era so I'd prefer Platz. I don't have problem if people are fine with Andrew replaced Platz or not but stop saying about "original member" because they are not and that also doesn't matter. Even if that's true about Platz left and Andrew replaced him, just let the people complain because they have their reasons.
Ok but do you know Andrew was their sound engineer through all these years even if he wasnt drummer anymore? Also he was in the band when they wrote eg. Its time
@@hotlikeapuddingxd3093And? Don't get me wrong but I love Andrew, ok? The Tolmans are amazing, Andrew put so much effort even he wasn't the drummer anymore. However, it doesn't make Platz less important to the band
I was just from a video saying how imagine dragons is turning worse, and i still dont believe thats true, this live show and this album is an absolute masterpiece, its just no one was able to connect with it
