Imaging Abnormal Fracture Healing 

I had a fibula shaft fracture and it was treated by plaster only even though the fracture was of displaced category but the alignment was maintained doctor said. Here i am learning about fractures, i have been learning a lot about bones since i got injured, my whole perspective has changed i am eating good food and stopped thinking about the muscles now i just think about how can i strengthen my bones

When a non union is becoming, normally have pain with bearing weight in tibia? I'm in 5 month, bridge plate MIPO, no real pain, but less power and insegurity with walking.

I broke my femur 6 months ago, there was a 2 inch piece of bone that broke completely off. They left it in my leg. They did do surgery right away. I now have a rod in my leg. The new bone is growing towards the piece of bone that’s left in my leg. Therefore the other side is not growing. The surgeon wants to do another surgery to remove the current rod and put in a bigger one, a plate and bone grafting. I did have a blood clot as well. I have only been a month and half that I’m able to put weight on my leg. I don’t want to have surgery again. They said the bone is non union however it’s slowly growing to me. The surgeon stated if I don’t have the surgery that the current Rod in my leg will break. I’m curious to know if the rod does break.
