This video discusses the imaging manifestations of neurotuberculosis, neuroborreliosis (Lyme disease) and neurosyphilis. This entities are sometimes called "atypical" bacterial infections because the causative micro-organisms can escape the first line neutrophilic response of the brain (resulting in the formation of pus) and these infections are as a consequence not pyogenic (or non-suppurative).
