I was sold on this light. Until the weak magnet and the UI came into view in this video. Also the red little light opposite of the button. Great way to confuse yourself as to which is the on button. Why didn't they just use the same button? 🤦♂️ Do all engineers just throw common sense out of the window when they design things now a days? Thanks for the video Charles. Saved me $70+
@@CharlesBridgTec I literally had it in my cart at nealsgadgets lol I REALLY wanted to like this light. I like the idea of a side button super floody compact 21700 light. This fit the bill perfectly. If they lost the gimmicky red button and integrated the red and battery display into a single button, added ramping UI, made the magnetic stronger, I'd pay their $80. My hunt continues for a compact 21700 magnetic side button light :(
Love your reviews, but just one request. When explaining the UI would you tell us whether the flashlight has instant access to low or ultra low. Instant access to low or ultra low is a must for me. Thanks.
I got a DM-70 that does not work, who do I send it back to? I checked tightness and battery, they are OK. I need to send it in for a replacement or to get it fixed.

Nice light! But with that pocket clip u cant edc the light in your pocket. Almost half the light would be hanging out the pocket. Im carrying the nitecore mh20gt love it! But still looking for that next light to replace it!
Well both are about equal when it comes to performance on high (not turbo). So I would get the one that is the cheapest in price. Also the Lumintop may not come with a battery when the Imalent does. Thanks for watching!

Hey Charles I love your reviews. Quick question would you choose the imalent dn70 or Olight seeker 2 pro? (Only targeting the beauty/strength of the light and battery life)not the functions and features of the flashlight. . .
They use same Cree Xhp70 2nd, tc20 3800, and imalent 4500? How it that possible when even on official website of cree they state the max output of this led is 4200 lumen, would be nice to see in your reviews light output testing

hi Charles, I've received DM70 today and one point surprise me It is normal the ON/OFF button is totaly free on turn ( free it's free, it's near a hand spinner.)? Make "gling-gling" sound always a little shake. I don't see that ont your test Not serious problème, but so, if it's normal it's strange idea Have a good day :)
ho ok :D I'm a "newcomer" on flashlight, so, well, it's my first clicky O;O Enjoye to learn more today ^^' I've 11 flashlight, essentially Nitecore and Fenix product, never see that. i want discover new brand with DM21C and this DM70 DM21C suprise me yesterday for is perform/size I don't expect nothing of higher mode of this DM70, i compare to my TM03 size/weight/heat sinking are many less "high" But th size and low mode (specially 300 lumens) are better to the TM03 , i hope use it with TM28 (for example) for combinaison Lightweight/powerfull mix with good runtime Thanks for your reply, and all off your video. After read many test i finish always with your vids . They are perfect for "locked" my choice. I specially like when you propose a different choice of battery, than that of the brand. It really depends on you for they are all different sized flashlights. Do you want an EDC or just casual use light? The SP36 take more than one 18650 battery so its heavier. So I would need more info from you. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec I bought Sofirn C8F, I would like more floodlight, I will use it for home use, exit to the courtyard, or go to the store, since our streets are not lit ... Therefore, I want a little brighter than Sofirn C8F, the weight does not matter, and it seems that the Cree XHP70.2 diode will be better if I’m not mistaken ...
