The heart as an ocean and then the rivers that connect to it was such a cool analogy! I think your lectures were the ones that stayed with me most. I kept telling my brother about the talk on our way to school today hehe. Really thought-provoking yet simple to understand. May Allah reward you!

Fascinating stuff overall. JazaakumAllah khayr. Question, you mentioned in your talk that one of the rivers- the ears- has no door... would you say that putting earplugs in/ covering ears with headphones is a way of shutting the doors to our ears?

+S. Student Even when you put earplugs in you're taking in silence, or when you put headphones with trance music or any type of sound then you are letting that in
