Industrial fans, commercial fans, cool fans, you name it!
I had never previously been interested or thought about having one of these industrial fans. These types of fans are rarely found in homes because their performance is too powerful for daily home needs, making them louder when operated than regular home fans. Also, they are very heavy, which makes them difficult to move around the house.
In Jan 2024, I watched a video of a fellow fan enthusiast reviewing his 2-blades industrial stand fan, and I was suddenly very interested in having one because of its design and neutral shape. At that time, I was also curious to experience for myself the sensation of having a real industrial fan that could last a lifetime at home.
At the start of my search, I had a target to have the HV fan with 2 blades. However, in Indonesia currently, it is very rare to find these industrial fans with 2 blades, because almost all brands here have switched their HV industrial fans to 3 blades. Of the many brands and models available, my choice was the IMATSU (CKE’s sub-brand) model 45 NH-SY. The reason is that this fan has the most basic and neutral model in its original silver color, and this design has been used for decades!
This fan is made from full iron, only the knob still uses plastic. The features offered are pretty basic, such as 3 speeds, and an adjustable oscillator which is located at the bottom of the motor cover.
I am always amazed by its stable performance, thanks to the bearing motor, as well as the slim blades that can produce this powerful wind. And don't forget the very slow swing oscillation, so that the air distribution is very even.
Although I am very satisfied with this fan, I still have hope that in the future I can have another industrial HV fan that has 2 blades, and a larger size that I can use for daily use in my dream home.
