yeah, like, I'm horrendous in Mirco and thus will never play sc2 proper (direct strike is cool though, i have fun playing that) and could easily have done better than him, like his unit comp was perfect, all he needed to do was land the vikings after killing the collosi and itd be an easy win

i think he wouldve even won if he hadnt done anything at all and just let the units shoot on their own...

I don't even play StarCraft 2 and I feel like I got worse from watching this replay.

@@goul7712 ad blocker is an absolute necessity in this day and age. my brother refuses to use it, and I saw him use youtube a while back and they start doing DOUBLE ads now. fucking atrocious. They will probably start doing triple or quad ads, whatever they can get away with. just make 90% of your viewtime for ads.

I tried once to stroll through youtube for useful info on some subject and was forced to watch 30 second prerolls for 10 useless vids that didn't even contain info that I needed.

ghosts are not for F2-A-movers...just go marine/marauder/tank and 3 base-push. no late game.

People tell me go for ghosts, super strong unit. Sure, also ravens hah. Ideally both to counter what? Lurkers that just burrow and they're fine, equivalent of stimming your army. Problem is you need ideally separate control groups for marine/marauder/medivac, separate for tanks, separate for ghosts and separate for ravens. Kinda too much for my Platinum skill. While my Zerg opponents will smile to my face with ling bane lurker :-)

@@Supergoon1989 well I gotta learn and get gud eventually lol. Usually the ghosts are in a second control group, but when a fight gets long and scrappy, a couple mysteriously end up in my main control group as well

just dont build ghost you dont need them ,when you are in diamond or masters you can think about ghosts

Skytoss players that disabled F2 hotkey on accident and don't know how to re-enable it just draw an arrow on the map with pylons or cannons to point the stargate fleet towards the enemy base, like some Nazca lines. See at 14:05 ;)

Comes with the territory. Terran is the race where things don't just work. 1 marine is bad, to make it work you either need 20 or research stim and combat shield. When you want to produce tanks, you need to build a techlab for every single factory. When you want to switch to Thors you also need to build an armory, but you still need to have techlabs on every factory. But not the same way as with the tanks, because if you build things too close to each other the Thor can't come out and you need to lift one of the factory and float it somewhere else(and build a new techlab and maybe destroy the old one). When you want to defend against a ground army, you don't build a defense tower, you build a bunker into which you need to put units that you already have. And when you absolutely need to have ground defense without using army supply, you must build an entire expansion and turn it into a big turret in a process that takes 3 minutes. That's why I recommend protoss to people who never player starcraft before. Things just work as you think they should.

@@lagg1e Protoss is new player friendly for sure, people correlate that with the race being OP all the time, in that way I agree... Protoss can be picked up relatively quickly. The issue is people thinking they are losing because protoss has overpowered systems in every step of the way... Which isn't true... There is iconic abilities on each of the races that just need to be abused in order to win in low elo. Protoss has always had amazing timings, back in the day I would go diamond on pure win streaks literally just doing a 4gate against EVERYTHING. Terran has stim and medivac drops... As soon as the opponent is distracted just take out their mineral line, do it two times early enough and you win the game... Zerg has great economy and army reproduction.. Fucking blast out your base with a timing push and overrun your opponent... I think protoss can FEEL op when people that don't see the big picture feel like there is nothing they can do. If a protoss is ahead and they have an army walking you down it does FEEL bad. At the same time, when I'm ahead against a terran and I can't walk up to them due to their great defencive abilities it doesn't feel great for me either so.

Multitasking is fake anyway. You do one thing then you take a break and do the other thing. No human ever did a multitask, thats simply not possible. The trick is, to shorten that break in the middle, not to try to do two things.

This Eggbert fellow was doing one thing with full attention, poorer than if he fully focused on something else. Lol

We have Ghost to B2, Ghosts 2-3 to C3, then finally Ghosts 1-3 to A4, setting up a nuclear attack. But Terran has made a critical error in that his strategy was to simply hope his opponent didn't see it. Protoss moves Observer to B4, captures the Ghosts, and has gained a significant material advantage.

That is not a bad thing. In my experience once you know how to play the game, thinking about it and watching replays is how you get better at it, compared to if you just play it non stop.

70-79 is average? If that's a % of questions gotten right that's huge considering the average lays much lower than that in most countries.

@@theunnamedaccount4009 some of the math teachers i've met, I'd rather them be wrong 1/5 of the time but be engaging and interested in the subject than to dryly repeat what it says in the textbook, giving few further insights and failing to engage the topic on a broader scale (probably out of fear of not being prepared and making a mistake).

@@BlackwidowGG Its average but you have easier versions of classes for students who cant keep up. The curriculum in public schools is probably 2-3 years behind the student. Most 6th graders could pass 9th grade. etc

As it turns out, move-commanding into your opponent's army for a solid 9 seconds until your army is 60% dead, before firing the first shot, indeed makes it possible to lose fights that could have never been lost otherwise!
