Apple feeders:
250g lard (or coconut oil)
6 apples
200g Pumpkin seeds
200g sunflower seeds
(add any other seeds you'd like or thar you have!)
One Prove White Loaf:
500g Strong white bread flour
25g Salted Butter (dairy free okay too)
1 1/4 tsp Salt
7g Yeast (equivalent to 2 tea spoons)
300ml warm water
2 tsp sugar (optional, gives a thicker crust)
1 egg (coconut oil for plant based option)
Pumpkin Seeds (optional)
--In a large bow, mix together the flour, (optional sugar) and salt, rub in the butter and then stir in the yeast.
--Stir in the water and mix into a soft dough by hand,
--Knead for about 10 minutes until stretchy
--Shape the dough to whatever you'd like to and place onto a greased baking tray
--Cover to prove for 1.5/2 hours
--Brush an egg wash onto the bread
--Place pumpkin seeds in threes to represent new growth (optional)
--Place in a pre-heated oven at (230 degrees Celsius/ 450 degrees Fahrenheit / gas mark 8) for 30/35 minutes IF your bread becomes too dark on top place foil over to protect it from burning.
