Thank you so much for making my grey evening oh so cosy! Mabon Greetings from Belgium. And please...stay as you are and keep making the videos YOU want and do not bend under the pressure of sponsors or likes... You have a true refreshing channel. That is very rare these days here on RU-vid. Take care, Maggie.
This evening I will commemorate and say goodbye to summer by cutting down and burning my sunflowers. I’ll sip an herbal tea picked from my garden, while watching the flames. Tomorrow I will continue working on my clay and stone oven, baking the first loaf of the season. Peace and simplicity to all.
I am a solstice child being born on June 21st and love celebrating Lilith but the time of autumn equinox is truly one of my favorite times of the wheel for celebration.
I was listening to this whilst cleansing and re-decorating my altar. I love autumn and I'm so excited for Mabon as it's my first time. I made a little broom and I love it it's so autumnal and just had to put it on my altar. I got a small stick and some fresh rosemary then bundled them together. Then I got some orange silk and wrapped it around the top of the rosemary and then tied it on with some brown wool and then some red wool, which feels so perfect for the season! I can't wait to start embracing autumn and the Mabon season. Blessed be to all and have a wonderful Autumn! 🧡
I have a great recipe for hot chocolate during autumn. You basically put in your normal hot chocolate mix and mix it how you put it. Just to add a bit of warmth and nice flavour, put in a tiny bit of cinnamon. Once done put your normal toppings on your hot chocolate and put a little bit of chocolate powder and a little bit of cinnamon on top as well and your normal flake, squirts cream and marshmallows. Honestly it’s really nice and recommend it. I have done it once with a lot of cinnamon don’t recommend with a lot of cinnamon just put a bit in it so you can still taste the blend of it together.
Refreshing to see you younger ones practising the Old Ways. It so happens that my life suddenly opened up for autumn and winter with no plans ahead for any arduous activities. This video reminded me that I have work to do - thank you! Blessed work! Merry meet!
I just found your Chanel, and it ignited my soul. For a moment I took a breath and knew I had returned home inside. Thank you for that beautiful reminder to the natural world and all the magic it holds!
I love your segues of entering the forest and coming home. I love your cheeky fairy that helps in the kitchen. I love the organic way you go about your rituals and crafts. You are certainly the main character in your life! Blessed Mabon, Alwyn.
I loved when you spoke of being humble and did your ceremony of gratefulness. Made me tear up.a little. I always do the same.🕯🍁 The pandemic has been so hard but the only good you can say is that it makes you grateful to be alive. Blessed everyday to still be here with family and friends.
28 year-old man and 'm IN LOVE with how nature-based this is. It reminds me of the animistic aspect of Japanese Shinto and how everything has a "kami" (spirit) especially when you mentioned your favourite oak tree! Kayashima Station, in Osaca had to be built AROUND a tree rather than the tree be chopped down because it is believed to house a Kami. Things like this show such beautiful reverence for nature I AM IN LOVE!
Your gratitude ceremony was very touching. I just came in from sitting outside and also expressing my gratitude for all the things (good and bad) which I have encountered while watching the sky.
Greetings Alwyn of the Enchanted Forest! ☺️ As I am currently reading “The Oak Papers” by James Canton, I love the idea of writing gratitudes on leaves! 🍁🍂 Thank you for another beautiful video. The energy truly speaks you put your heart into each video for us. 😊🍂🍁🍂🍁
Hi Ivy thankyou so much!! Ooo what a great book! Yes well if you'd like you could use real leaves! I truly love making the videos for you all so your comment means so much 💚🍃😍🍁🍂🌼 have a blessed mabon x
This is soooo aesthetically beautiful. Even though we don't have four seasons in my country, I would love to celebrate the Fall Equinox this year as a form of gratitude to the Source and the Universe. Thank you Alwyn and Love & Light from Philippines ✨
I had an enchanted forest in my youth in which I roamed day and night. I honored the trees and watched in awe the starling migration in the fall. Many of the leaves had fallen but the birds took their places like leaves on the trees, there were so many! I was a bit like you in the mystical ways and I want to ask you...please, never change!
I like autumn very much, because I was born in November🙂.There is amazing autumn in the Czech republic. You can see many beautiful trees, feel the silence in the forest...some mystery in the air🙂 I prefer sitting in the armchair with a favourite book and delicious coffee...it is my ritual🙂 Your rituals are new inspiration for me. Good luck🍀
This was just beautiful!! autumn is my favorite season and I miss it because I live in Florida but I grew up in Pennsylvania. you’re truly gifted and I look forward to all your videos thank you🧡🍁🍂🎃🧹
I love fall too, but i hate that i live in a big city. Two years ago ( before the pandemic) i spent this last week of september in the scottish highlands and that was really awesome, it felt really good. I wish i could live in a smaller town with a forest near.
I need to get a leaf paper cutter and do that idea. That is wonderful! We all need ways to remind ourselves of things of light when we are in the midst of darkness.
I really love these videos. While im sick with fever and cant go outside to collect leaves etc. for my diy projects, these clips bring me peace and hope and ofc new ideas while im recovering. Tysm ❣️
Thank you! This is a lovely and inspiring video. There are several rituals that I will work with: I am cleaning my office and my altar, I am making apple pie, and I love the idea of the broom, and the leaves of gratitude. Thank you, again!
Wonderful video, beautifully shot. Thank you for all your insights! I just want to put this out there... when harvesting apples, you don’t want to pull down, it permanently damages the bud. Apple trees can produce fruit on the same bud for decades if it remains in tact. You should always push up and gently twist until it comes off ❤️
You are so lucky to have a beautiful forest close by. I have a small woodland which I love to walk through especially in Autumn, I always bring nature home from my walks, leaves, pinecones, etc. I too love to find mushrooms and fungi. It has bluebells and wild garlic in Springtime. My fave was the gratitude messages on the leaves, I'm glad you kept them to read at a later date
I adore Mabon and loved watching your rituals and ideas. This time of year, I start to collect for Samhain as we honour Mabon. I saged and cleansed using rosemary sticks around my doors. I have an adorable Mabon wreath made by a Wiccan that I use as part of Mabon decorations. Blessed be Alwyn - Selene.
Autumn is my very favorite time of the year, and Mabon, Samhain, and Yule are so very dear and part of my very being. Watching your video was quite a gift. Everything you spoke about and showed are close to my heart, but your heartfelt Gratitude and Sharing were beautiful to witness. Blessed Be.
What a beautiful video. The forest reminds me a lot of the trees at the Hill o' Doone of my native Scotland. A place I'd often go at this time of year, for both its Druidic and Celtic history, and its Faerie magick. But I'll make do with the pine trees of my garden here in Texas and a completely different set of spirits...
I made a little broom also ! Perfect for incense ashes and cleansing. It's impossible to pick a favorite 'project ' this time. Each one inspired me. As always, thank you and Mabon Blessings right back to you. 💜🍁💜
Practicing gratefulness to Sun& Night Goddess and making Apple pies are my favorite. Thank you so much for sharing your Autumn Equinox ritual. Love and bless.
Thank you for so much beauty, 🍂🍁 I love when you show every detail you make, it is very magical to see the rituals, when you cook, in the forest, 🍂🍁the fairies, I am so happy with your videos, your channel fills me with peace... 🍂🍁
Благодарю за очень разумное и красивое видио! Пишу Вам с горящей Украины! Подписалась на Ваш канал! Благодарю Вас за наполнение меня доброй энергией!❤❤❤
So beautiful. I must try those pies! And I love, love, love the idea of writing down items of gratitude, speaking them to the moon, and then keeping them for those days when you need to be reminded of all the amazing things in life we have to be grateful for. I'm planning to incorporate that ritual into my next full moon ritual. I even have a little round box with moon and star designs on it on my altar that would be perfect to keep those things in. Thank you for being such an inspiration! Blessed be.
Mabon is approaching again 🥰 so grateful for this time of year 🍁🍂 im also very grateful for you Alwyn, you have no idea how much peace and happiness your videos bring me so thank you! 🧡
I can’t pick just one thing that was my favorite. I love the recipes you put onto your videos, I love the idea of getting things from nature and do that myself and I love the writing things that you’re grateful for. Another wonderful video. Thank you and Blessed Mabon🍁🍂🌾🍁🍂🌾
💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖 Thank you so much for your video. I found my brith tree I am very thankful for the weeping willow and I have been helping her flourish and the day of the week is a wednesday too. Thank you so much for great ideas to put into my life a true friend. 💖🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖
Autumn iS my favorite season sO MucH sO ThaTs what I named my daughteR.🌳🍃🍂🍁Though I have to admit since I moved from New Jersey where I grew up to New England I have come to love summer much more because of our long winters until recent years on account of global🌏🌎🌍 warming making the summers waY toO hoT! So I have come to enjoy the transitional seasons much better. Although winter does have its charms I love being outdoors a loT in fairer weather especially in the garden, sea coast or a walk in an orchard with my family gathering YummY fruit 🍓🍐🍒🍑🍏🍎Your artful creativity, musical musings and otherwise beautiful creations awaken in me something latent and remind me to make time for creativity and leave certain things on the back burner to nurture my soul ☯️ThanK YoU graciouslY GooD LadY AlwyN 💕💖
I loved this video and the little broom for cleaning energy, the little pies and the cinnamon spray. I love the whole video. Thank you for sharing your beautiful peaceful energy with us. Blessed be🍁🍂🌻🧡🕯
Blessed Mabon & thank you Dear Alwyn, we're grateful as ever that we can depend on you for inspiration and guidance each Sabbat. My 6 year old, nature loving daughter beams with pride and wonder while she notices the parallels and the possibilities between what we do and what you so lovingly suggest. Celebrating life with love and solidarity always, Claire & Sylvi
Hi from Australia, thank you for your videos. I'm trying to teach my young daughter to understand, appreciate and connect with so much of what you celebrate, you're an inspiration. I loved thanking and offering protecting to nature, absolutely beautiful, and choosing to retain your gratitudes to remind you when you need it. We'll be sure to make your cinnamon spray and hand pies! Thank you, John
Thank you for this video! And thank you for simplifying it so anyone can participate. I live in the Pacific Northwest and I can find all of these things near me.
I love this video so much and you’re so gorgeous! Tonight I cleaned my whole room and altar, I am very excited for the 21st of September and the full moon 🌛
Hi Alwyn! What a wonderful video! Thank you for reminding me that the autumn equinox is near. Many of us who live in big cities simply do not perceive the changes in nature and forget about these important astronomical events that used to guide and direct life in times past. Although I don't share many of your beliefs, I love your DIY & cooking ideas, the aesthetic of your videos and the positivity you bring. Thank you! 🙏💚 I wanted to ask you were you ever interested in runes and would you consider using them in your videos? Best regards, Daniel
I loved this video, Alwyn! Even though I am late, as I discovered you only a day or so ago, I was delighted to learn of your Mabon celebration ideas. It's been unseasonably warm here (I live in Oregon, U.S.A.), so I don't necessarily think it's too late to welcome and celebrate Autumn. Yesterday I joyfully binged on some of your videos, and it's such a pleasure to come back and watch another today. You and your ideas are so inspiring. 💖
Mabon Blessings to you!! I love your hand pies, cute and delicious looking. I've learned so much from this video alone about Mabon and even more grateful that it lands on my birthday this year. I just started getting back into witchcraft after a five three year hiatus and you and your channel inspires me the more I watch your videos.
Hey Alwyn 🌷 Southern witch here. I have been seeing your Ostara posts on Instagram and I thought I'd see what you did for Mabon, as that's what's coming up for me. 😁 Thank you for sharing your ideas. I am so excited to welcome Autumn and Winter 🥰 And so would love to do a couple of your suggestions. I particularly love the little besom you made 😄💜 Very sweet.
Ah, yes! All Hollows Eve Mabon is beautiful but...(Sigh) TY love all you have shared and am grateful to have share such a amazing day with you. Love, light and blessings 🙏🏻🦋🌻🌹greetings from USA
I love doing gratitude petitions. I want to try your pies as well, they look delicious. I always have a pumpkin soup with some Apple Cider. it just puts me in the right frame of mind. I live in CA, so we don't really see the season change too much I don't live in an area where you see it too often, so consuming fall favorites always tells my body that it's fall!
