I haven't finished the video, so I don't know if someone said this, but Satanism isn't a religion where you worship Satan. He's more of a mascot. Cuz he was all like "fuck God, I do what I want." So Satanism is about following in his footsteps, and practicing self-worship, and listening to yourself before listening to some other higher being and doing what EVERYONE ELSE wants you to do. one thing i noticed is that usually people who were religious or raised religious and had bad experiences in the church usually either become atheists or even become satan worshipers, because they're mad at god for not being there for them or saving them in messed up situations. one reason i left the church was because my pastor basically told me that the reason why i almost got show while walking home was because i missed sundays at church. i hate how when bad things happen to people, and if you're "sinning" then it's "oh that's why! that's god punishing you!", but if you're trying to live a decent life, being as christ like as you can be in your life, and something bad happens to you it's "oh well god works in mysterious ways" or "well you know things happen in life that we can't understand". it's like one is a definite answer for them just to manipulate you and prove their point. when i think of god now i think of chuck from supernatural, and how dean feels about him. i miss being religious sometimes, and envy people that are though. but yeah...not messing with the magic and stuff. i'm not religious anymore but i am superstitious, and believe in bad luck and stuff like that. lol

I'm Catholic and I believe in respecting everyone because we're all people, all human. I agree to disagree with others, as knocking someone for what they believe in is rude and doesn't make progress. Yo Dontai! Info about satanism that you might not know! "worshipping satan" is not a part of real satanism- if you go to the satanic temple's website they flat out say he is just a symbol for them. They do not do anything sacrificial or worship him. It's actually a science based religion (from what I've gathered). And their tennets are actually pretty nice. I've gone to the temple myself when in Salem on vacation, everyone is super sweet, I learned a lot about the religion, and it's actually not what everyone thinks it is. Do I believe in it? No. Would I shit on it and say all these things that aren't true because of what pop culture and facebook tells me? Fuck no lmao They're good people, they don't do any of the stuff people assume they do, and there's really nothing "satanic" about the religion, at least in the world's view of what satanism is. It's really not what everyone thinks and I think more people need to do real research before saying things like the people in the video say. People need to educate themselves before being assholes on the street about something they don't know about. Their actual symbol isn't even satan, its baphomet. This is why I kinda don't like religion, depending on where you are beliefs can vary very much. In one place you won't get help for abuse and the church members will go against you for trying to leave because of their interpretation of the Bible. But there are also churchs where they have some sort of decency and try to help people based off of their morals. To me this just goes to show how you don't get morals from the Bible but morals were added to the Bible. Note: I don't hate you if you practice religion, it's just that religion gets some leeway from governments due to being religions and can thus get away with doing some immoral things because of their "interpretations" of their sacred texts and that clearly hasn't shown to always work out great
