Imelda's voice is really unique and superb by delivering true emotion in every performance. She can sing what ever she wants and nail it. Rocabillity is just one of the many genders she can fully master with ease.
I really like the new stuff. Love the rockabilly too, but you can't expect an artist to lock themselves into one genre forever. Stifles the creative flow too much. She's a superb vocalist; she needs to sing however she's inspired. Love to hear some more old school jazz and blues, and traditional Irish stuff!
And another great song from a wonderful singer. I loved your music while you were in rockabilly and i still love it now. It s just the way you sing and your voice. And the fact that every song tells a story. You are trully one of today's best singers/songwriters
Imelda is a prodigy! One of the best albums I have heard in years, only heard for the first time now. I love(d) her rockabilly stuff but you can't lock a great artist into any genre. I am going to buy this album right now. All power to your pumps good lady.

These new song are not really appealing. Yes she has great voice, but these are not Johnny got a boom boom or hell fire club and they never will be. I 'll keep listening to old one's
