This video shows the advantage of feeding Wilman Love grass to cows vs any other hay that does not reseed your pasture with a great grass.. This shows where the high volume palatable grass spread from my field to my rested pasture probably by the wind.. It is also spreading across the pasture by cow dung, I have trouble seeing the roads. The video was taken a few days ago. I noticed given long enough this year, the wilman overwhelmed the weeds that the mild and wet winter gave us this year. So many of the pastures I see have not recovered from the many decades of overwhelming jack rabbits which the coyotes eliminated. Also, we use to run sheep and goats the year round and not rotate our pastures and we lost our climax grasses. This grass has white pulp in the stems and is so palatable when I turned my weaned calves in June into a black soil pasture which I had rested 9 months and has a klein grass field and corners with my sandy pasture. The calves came back to the corrals and ate every leaf of a round bale of wilman hay that I had cut last fall. I didn't expect them to bother it. . The Llano Uplift pastures and pastures with sand can be turned around and reseeded by simply feeding your cows and watch your pastures returning to a grassy pasture. I even see some blue stem, side oats and other grasses coming back. I just baled 260 round bales on a 53 acre on an unfertilized field which shows you the incredible volume of hay you will add to your pastures at no additional cost.
