British drag performer here and I want to say I have been really enjoying your irreverent and hilarious takes on each episode *but* I want to remind everyone and maybe clue a few people in- drag race UK is not representative of UK drag at all. The scene in the UK is political, satirical and full of genderfuck fun. As with the scene in the US, kings, hyperqueens and trans/nonbinary performers have to be fight more to be seen but make up a huge portion of the scene and are innovating and revolutionising on a regular basis. We don't tend to do performing for tips here so the way we plan and stage our performances doesn't really fit naturally to the drag race format. It's great that this is letting people see more UK performers but please keep looking because the scene is bigger, bolder and way more vibrant than what they're putting on TV
