He is using Denmark as an example of how a society ought to be. America is the biggest consumer, but not the "ideal" society Denmark is. It is not to attack Denmark, it is to say, everyone in the world deserves to live like that, and if they (all countries) DID that, it would not be sustainable
The new system will require an outside powerful force that can clear the deck of this system in order to lay the foundation of a new system. This known as divine intervention. Mankind has no control over the establishment of the new system. Peace.
