Yes, i totally agree that cosmic events, such as asteroid impacts, pose far greater threats to Earth's environment than human-made disasters like nuclear war. Ancient myths and symbols across various cultures often reflect a historical awareness of their potential dangers. Aligned with Randall I too advocate integrating this ancient knowledge with modern science to better prepare for future cosmic threats.
Randall is the teacher i wish to be had in school. Also, i think the dark matter from the theory, that weaves in and out around the galactic plane are Birkeland currents. And the comets more likely are going to be attracted by electrical charge, not gravitational pulls.
The pumpkin was native to the Americas. It was the Irish people who brought the tradition of the rutabaga, which was carved out. Candles were placed inside and placed as lights, to light the way for the dead, which they believed visited on Halloween. When the Irish came to America, there were not so many rutabagas, as there were in Ireland. However, there was always a bumper crop of pumpkins of similar size (and bigger). So the pumpkin began to be used to light the way for the dead. What I don’t know is how it went from just opening the top and hollowing out the pumpkin, to carving a face in the side.

I saw a Leonids fireball storm early in the evening on November 17, 1998 in NW Louisiana. There were aprox 12 to 15 large slow fireballs constantly visible all going in the same direction across the sky and skipping back out into space. They left glowing trails behind. Some of the glowing trails shrunk into round glowing spots and some of the meteors exploded and made glowing smoke rings. No sounds.

Any size comet/asteroid pales in comparison to the sun and would have a negligible effect. The sun is 1,000 times larger than Jupiter. The biggest asteroids are smaller than earth's moon.

Even the Bible talks about multiple floods. Remember Eden was covered by a flood after Eve failed the test of standing in the river for a period of time. I always took this one as the flooding of what is now the Mediterranean Sea region.

@@The1Elcil Pheaton was the son of the Sun God Helios and his mother was an Oceanid. all of the -nids in Greek mythology were nymphs and as Randall pointed out many of which are associated with meteor streams located near the various constellations from Earth's perspective. Wasn't sure which constellation the Oceanids would have come from. Phaeton being from earth, the ocean, would not make sense given the story. I've heard Randall's version of it as well as some longer versions on a few different mediums.
@@MrRabiddogg I was just reading about Oceanus and the domain of the Ocean, it was suggested that the Ocean continued into the sky. This made me think of the Milky Way. Perhaps you can add that to consider beyond the previous points I made. The Oceanids were abundant and widespread. Like most -nids they were not featured strongly in the lore nor the sky. Maybe Randall has more. Phaethon is in the sky as a star and has a constellation. Maybe he was sent home after death? Maybe us modern folks conflate the -nids and -ids?

Hey Randall, I've been following you work for 3-4 years and agree with many of your conclusions. I really enjoy your lectures. You are an excellent, thorough and dedicated researcher. You use the evidence speak for itself. I would like invite you to check out the Electric Universe Theory presented by the Thunderbolts Project. They have their own RU-vid Channel. I think you might find that some of their hypotheses nicely dovetail with some of your own. Their theory and yours match the timing of the events surrounding the Younger Dryas, they just have a somewhat different take on the root causes. In a nutshell this is their position: The universe is electrical, not gravity centric. The old, long standing cosmological paradigm of gravity, accretion and impacts with regard to solar and planetary synthesis is being challenged. There is growing evidence that the objects in the solar system are influenced not just by gravity, but electromagnetic forces. The sun is the actual originator of the electrical charges thrown out to the planets. It has a positive charge electrical influence over it's local environment. The further out you go toward the heliopause, the more negative(electrically) the environment. Cometary orbits are so eccentric that they spend a great deal of time in the outer solar system, where the electrical is more negative. They grow tails due to a plasma discharge caused by the differences in electrical potential in the volume of space that they are moving through. They do not present tails and Comas because they get closer to the sun, warm up and start volatizing the frozen materials within.The dozen or so probes that we've sent to various comets have sent back images that have completely failed to find anu vents or fissures whatsoever. These discoveries go a long way towards falsifying the dirty snowball theory that Fred Whipple authored. What was actually found was that comets are actually made of solid rock with geologic features consistent with those found on rocky planets. Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 did not break up only due to Jupiter's gravitational influences. It blew apart the same way a capacitor blows when receiving to much current. (Note how the fragments spaced themselves out evenly apart and in a straight line as they approached the planet. Additionally, the massive impact scars and massive X-rays that were generated as the fragments made contact with the Jovian atmosphere).
