Because neutral love Spurs. They are kinda big team but not a big team (perfect for neutrals or fans of other teams to love). Ibe is a recording signing at Bournemouth and he's not mentioned, Sissoko is a record signing and he isn't mentioned but Xhaka (who tbh has been decent for us) has been mentioned and got all those votes from salty Chelsea and Spurs fan. Pogba deserved to be there cause that's ridiculous money and as a French international supporter, I can say that the guy is sooooooo much better than what he has been at United. The move to United wasn't perfect for him. I am a French international and Arsenal supporter so this is absolutely unbiased opinion but Xhaka has been better than Pogba cause believe me Pogba is unbelievable and he's been just average, it's like Messi having a season that Aguero has had this year (good stats but not anywhere near good enough for a player of that quality)

James Tomas as a Spurs fan I think he was a horrible transfer ... but I think the questions was aimed more towards a transfer where the player had a big expectation. Sissoko was just an expensive mistake with no expectations.

What Costa is doing for Chelsea this season and 2 years ago is exactly what he did when Atletico Madrid won the title. Scoring vital point-winning goals and if he isn't scoring, he gives everything for his teammates to score (when he's not in hulk mode).

and saints tbf so yh liverpool, but I am yet to see a pundits team of the season without romeu, van dijk or bertrand. sure van dijk missed little over a quarter of the season but when he has played no defender has even been close to him. romeu puts out extremely similar stats to any other centre mid/defensive mid playing for a worse team playing much fewer games than the others and bertrand puts out better stats than anyone else

I don't understand how Sánchez will make your squad but IMO Mané deserves it more. Mané came to Liverpool this season and it was not guarenteed that he would be this important for the Liverpool team. He have scored 13 goals along with 5 assists this season and this is the best total amount of points for any Liverpool player. The AFCON really showed how important Mané was. When he left, Liverpool had a win percentage of 71% but when Mané came back the percantage had dropped to 31%! He is the main reason that Liverpool are in 3rd place and that they will probably get Champions League football. As a summary, Mané have contributed more to a new looked Liverpool and makes that Liverpool attack fluent and very scary.

I agree with Kanté being the best defensive midfielder of the season but I disagree with people who say it's obvious; it's not, given that the other 3 nominees had very similar stats at the end of the season compared to Kanté and they all played just as crucial of a role to their teams as Kanté did for Chelsea. So therefore, technical skill wise, they are very similar except I do think that Kanté has a better engine than the other 3, and he also helped Chelsea win the league. I think people need to realise that part of the reason why everyone loves Kanté so much is that he was part of Leicester's miraculous title winning season and he only cost them £5 million. But let's not forget that just a year later, Chelsea signed him for £32 million, more than Manchester United payed for Herrera, more than Tottenham payed for Wanyama and more than Everton payed for Gueye. All these players have improved over this season and I don't think we should just look at Kanté but the others too because personally I think they are all as valuable and as good in ability as each other

Courtois Moses - Azpilicueta - Luiz - Milner Pedro - Kante - Alli - Hazard Lukaku - Son Yes I am a Chelsea fan, but consistency is key, can't get into this team with just playing outstanding in a few games. That's why i'd have Pedro over Mane. Courtois has made very very important saves and although De Gea has been good, Courtois has made crucial crucial saves. Moses has been a revelation, haven't seen anyone get past him this season, similarly to Azpilicueta. And David Luiz is the best defender in the league, he can defend, aswell as pass and use the ball unlike Alderweireld.

William Collins Firstly i would classify Sanchez more as a striker for this season.... And Mane has played on the wing the whole season. And secondly, Mane has carried Liverpool much better than Sanchez has carried Arsenal (6th). And mane is a RW, and Sanchez is a ST/LW and the team needs a RW.. And Liverpool don't have just one player that scores the goals...... And Mane was away for the AFCON for a Month, and Sanchez was not, and Mane got injured in the Everton game, so he can't score more goals or Get more assists because of that

And Sanchez has still played numerous amounts of games on the wing this season, as well as that being his natural position, and if you ask most people what position they consider Sanchez to play they would say winger, and since he is versatile enough to play either wing it really doesn't matter which one you talk about, left or right, since he has played on both in his career. And to say Mane was injured, who's to say he wouldn't have had a goal drought when he would have been playing?
