It's worth it, you can actually change mechs and the recharge won't restart, so you can use one mech and instantky use the other which lets you be mech for the entire game.

There are two legendary Imps: Party Imp and Scallywag Imp :) Also one special Z7 Imp

The base and party mechs have miniguns The dragon has a flamethrower The pylon mechs have artillery like guns The shrimp mech has a laser The Z7 mech has a weapon similar to that of a assault rifle used in Mass Effect And the pirate mech has a cannon that works like Captain Deadbeard's weapon So how are they similar?
