This was quite interesting 🧐 I find it astonishing that they're literally engraved in the building. And for the top of a church to be twisted, I only wonder what direction it would be pointed too 🤨 (just to be noiser than I need to be haha) nether the less splendid video!
Chesterfield's twisted spire has a couple of folklore tales of its own apart from being the victim of the Imps, I am going to do an episode about it particularly so I will try and find out which direction it's pointing to. Thanks for the kind words :)
Oooh wonderful, I love ancestry... seeing where the roots of us all come from, and also how our folklore (and fairy folk) travelled with our familes when they emigrated :)
I’m building a very large tree house for the Fey. I have a about a dozen or so of them (porcelain) .. may I ask, what are the rules about naming fairies?
To be honest, I thing the rules are quite fickle when it comes to Faerie anything, and vary so much region to region. It's human nature to need to name things and so I would say always treat Faeries with respect and go with your gut feeling. Ask to yourself what would the name be, be still and quiet and open to answers and see what comes to you. I think that's the best we can do. :)
