Joe Austin Stewart can u tell me what u have added to your car cause I have an impala ss 2007 and everything stock, I'm trying to make it quick and fast
I'm looking to get one soon bro did you have any problems with yours? And also would like to know about the maintenance like what was needed done to keep the car up? Thanks
the only problem I ever encountered with the car was every once in awhile it would take a few cranks to start it and the engine light would come and go, This was because I had a power steering leak and i believe it was leaking down onto the crank shaft sensor, and this is what was causing the starting problems and engine light. Other than that the car ran amazing. It had 180k miles on it and still purred like a kitten. I surprised a lot of people in that car with its speed, won lots of races.
jamarc waller try just a muffler delete which would be the 2 in the back and if that isn't enough sound for you I'd put a magnaflow of flowmaster (sounds a little raspier in my opinion). But I'd try to just simply have the 2 mufflers cut off first
did you plasti dip rims. car looks good bro. these are fun cars for being FWD v8 I did a burnout in front of this dude with awd sti lol was funny as hell
I'll do some more videos of my car when weather permits it's rainy today. I did the CAI the one that's damn near 300 dollars anything else done to yours
Korey Austin-Stewart What's up my dude did you notice anything bad like a check engine like after deleting you resonator and mufflers? I have a 2009 Impala SS. I might delete the same but everyone keeps saying I'll damage my engine.
I got 2 buddies 1 has Mazda speed3 turbo I get him from the line but highway speeds he gets me plus I'm auto so it's hard to find right gear other buddy has awd twin turbo BMW can't even come close lol but my goal is to beat my Mazda speed buddy
Most likely Plasti Dip you can get it at any hardware store even Walmart 6 bucks a can depending on where you go. There are tons of tutorials on RU-vid. 👍
Bascal Thomas I cleaned it myself. If you go to one of the service car washes usually they will clean it for 20-30 dollars but it's not hard to do yourself just be sure to cover wire connections fuse box air intake and battery and I cleaned mine with engine off and after cleaning it used a compressor with a air nozzle and blew off as much water as possible then turned car on and once it was all dry I sprayed the shiny coat on to give it that new engine look
DjSmooth NY yeah I just took the cover off and cleaned the engine and used a shiner to make it look brand new. Sadly I no longer have the car. About to get a mustang gt
ryan fisher a pipe that’s straight. Jus playin. Basically, he just removed all the stock exhaust pieces (the muffler, cat converter, resonator) & all there is left is just the exhaust pipe (makes it loud as fuk)
Reubin Michael I was being a smartie, good man for explaining it though. As a mechanic who learned early on how to bend pipe and create exhaust systems from stupid loud to just the right tone...I always got a kick out of the phrase "straight pipes"
Depends on what car you have. The newer vehicles (around 2006 & up) are very touchy when it comes to making any modifications to the preprogrammed settings from the manufacturer. So with newer vehicles, you will trigger multiple codes dealing with emissions (bank 1/2 running too lean, etc.) if you make any modifications to the factory/stock exhaust system. Now removing a cat converter sensor will definitely trigger an engine code.
